Kiritsugu is my all time favourite fate series master, his story arc is masterfully written and so beautifully tragic he went from a person who wanted to save the world to a tragically broken man and eventually a husk of the person he once was only to get some of that back when he saved shirou, he is just an incredibly written character
Kiritsugu is a great character who chose to lose his goal life to break the holy grail but failed 💔 Anyways he’s my 2nd favorite character of whole time and my 2nd favorite main character as well.. After Yang Wenli (Legend Of The Galactic Heroes).. Yep to me Kiritsugu is the best Fate character I ever seen, Fate/Zero is great because of many great characters, plot and the plot twist, the last episodes were more than masterpiece 🫡

Everytime I listen to this I just think of Iri singing to Kiritsugu. It doesn't help that at some parts of the song, Luna Haruna sounds almost exactly like Irisviel.
I think of it that way for half the song, for the other half I think Kiritsugu is singing to Irisviel. I've always heard and read it as a call and answer. I think Kiritsugu stopped believing in his dream after Shirley, but Irisviel made him start dreaming again.

@@maryammuhib UBW was a pretty good continuation to Fate Zero, mainly because Archer's plot was one of the best ways to see Shirou fighting his internal struggles to continue Kiritsugu's will. The others, I mostly agree with.

I dont think there was anyone who didnt cry at that ep Im generally a pretty emotionless person but fate zero is one of the 3 anime to make me burst out in tears.it is truly a masterpiece no other fate series comes close
Waver is similar (with his relation to Rider), he is fit except the part of forest. Kirei actually honest person but didn't believe his kindness so he did cruel things felt that it's his compassion. He saved Kiriya at begining when nearly killed by Tohsaka, with pure intention. His word is show compassion(pity) to him, even he interested to Kiritsugu. Yet believe that he loved torture people then did crazy cruel things.... Until he and Gil corrupted by Holy Grail, it's not count. Kiriya go went through to Holy grail only to save Sakura, it's actually count even though he became crazy. Then Sakura is stop believe kindness until met Shiro who similar to Kiriya. Caster(Gilles) actually same with Jeanne when alive, he is kind person but after the betrayal people they are saving and Jeanne killed. He became lunatic who that craziest one. Lancer of course with his girlfriend, when ran from King. Many kind pure ones although mostly are tainted suited here....

Funny that the first time hearing this in forever I can picture the animation going on in the background. Irisviel was my the best character in the show, but she played her part really well & this ed sequence is one of my favorite in terms of meaning.

Kirisugu Emiya is similar to Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Franchise, Both are Protagonist in Prequel series, Both are Fallen Hero, Both are Redeemed Villain, Both have two children together, Both latter died in the end of series with their Ultimate Redemption

Fgo is pretty generic mash is a carbon copy of sakura with no interesting qualities and the main character a generic self insert with no characterization or character development. Camelot was not the best story nasu wrote zero and staynight are still far better. Fgo has a bunch of teens being time traveling to save the world compared to teens fighting in a ancient ritual for a wish granting device

Archer is a fantastic antagoinist in ubw as he is the ideal shirou pursued and has a better story arc than any of the fgo servants. Sabers arc of letting go of the grail also completely out does any of the fgo servant arcs. The fight although not on a grand scale feel personal have weight and actually help the characters grow unlike the fights in fgo. Just because it is a game doesn't mean the MC can't have development. VN protagonist can very easily be self inserts yet shirou is not

@@xiaoxiaoguy395 the best story nasu created is arguably kara no kyokai. Zero is miles better than fgo the staynight visual novel is leagues above zero. Fgo is pretty generic mash is a carbon copy of sakura with no interesting qualities and the main character a generic self insert with no characterization or character development. Camelot was not the best story nasu wrote zero and staynight are still far better. Fgo has a bunch of teens being time traveling to save the world compared to teens fighting in a ancient ritual for a wish granting device

Archer is a fantastic antagoinist in ubw as he is the ideal shirou pursued and has a better story arc than any of the fgo servants. Sabers arc of letting go of the grail also completely out does any of the fgo servant arcs. The fight although not on a grand scale feel personal have weight and actually help the characters grow unlike the fights in fgo. Just because it is a game doesn't mean the MC can't have development. VN protagonist can very easily be self inserts yet shirou is not

He really didn't kill Irisviel and Ilya. His philosophy is if he can save 1000 people by killing 500 people he will do it. He wish the true peace that is no fighting between humanity. But he don't know how to achieve it that's why he looks for a miracle. The grail will grant his wish by his way of knowing that is by killing few to save many then it will eventually arrive the time to choose wife&daughter vs Humankind and his ideology or philosophy chose humankind because it is the only way he know. That projection make him understand his wish can't be fulfill or the grail is twisted.
