- I Hear a Symphony reached no.1 on the Billboard chart in 1965. This magnificent Holland-Dozier Holland classic is based around a simple repeated melody but interest is maintained by the 4 semi-tone key change, the terrific arrangement and a great performance by Diana, Mary and Flo. This still sends me!
I added drums, bass, strings, celeste and perc to fatten up and compliment the original recording.
As always, please use your best headphones.

If you enjoyed this or any of my other remixes please consider buying me a coffee via ko-fi.com/futu... thanks!
Nothing lifts the soul like the Supremes
Yeah! I saw those thousand violins filling the air! BRAVISSIMO!!! You know? ❤❤❤. PWG
Over the top production!
I think this is HDH's MOST sophisticated lyrical and musical composition for that era. Just stunning arrangements
Great song but I still think the best version by far is the Isley brothers.
Perfect enhancements.
I remember seeing them in concert...floor length golden gowns and golden voices....thank you for revitalizing this classic.
I congratulate you on the mixing , awsome ...
One of their greatest song and best group ever!
My favorite Supremes song and you made it even better. Awesome job!
Very, very nicely remixed with the extra vocal from Diana. I especially like the beat mount toward 3:03. A gorgeous and cleverly elongated remix.
That ending oh god gave me goosebumps 😍😍😍
I am just blown away at the incredible production quality of this and ALL your uploads.
Thanks for sharing your passion for quality music.
Cheers, Clive.
Beautiful remix. Berry Gordy rush released this gem upon the heels of the success of A Lover's Concerto by The Toys.
Tx Michael! Yes, I remember them being on the radio simultaneously in the UK . The Toys track bore many similarities to this and one wonders which came first?
"A Lover's Concerto" was released in the US in August 1965 (peak #2 for 3 weeks) and in the UK in October 1965 (peak #5).
"I Hear A Symphony" (was released in the US in October 1965 (peak #1, 2 weeks); not sure of UK release, but it peaked at #39.
And, yes, like Michael said, "I Hear A Symphony" is a direct result of "A Lover's Concerto" hitting the airwaves. They started recording on Sep. 22, finished it on the 30th, and it was released on October 6.
P.S. - Love this rework!
Ve this tune
Wooo good work ! Love it. Hopefully someday you’ll do the song Love is like an itching my heart ❤️
Einfach Klasse. Danke 😉
I'M ACTING LIKE A GROUPIE...….. FOLLOWING YOUR WORK...…...I CAN HEAR THE ADDED DRUMS AND STRINGS.....PLUS THE THOSE VOICES ARE CRISP AND CLEAR...….:)
THAT PHOTO COVER OF THE 45 WAS SO AMAZING , ESPECIALLY FLORENCE IN THE MIDDLE LOOKING DOWN.....
Masterpiece! Well done!!!
A Supreme weakness I have surrendered to the essence of my heart.
Like you advised I used my best headphones ... cannot get anymore lovely ... You are coming from a place of love and it shows in your work ...
Tx a lot Alan!
Amazing voices via great remix keeping these iconic sounds as great as ever. When us amateurs try to sing we can see first hand the enormous talent exemplified by the Supremes and Motown production staff thats impossible to approximate. Likewise its easy to dismiss the skill required to be unobtrusive background singers where standing out can be an embarrassing flaw. And yes they were all exceptional women not only as singers but of course very good looking and very bright and smart. Mary was exceptionally beautiful, Florence more voluptuous sassy and luscious, and Diana the most determined driven and athletic. An incredible group of young women we can all be so proud of.
The visuals are as awesome as what you have done with the music on this song!
Thanks a lot for your positive comments Ujima!
Beautiful remix well done!

I am surprised that anyone could hear this wonderful, artistic, talented creation by fu TuRo over my own wild applause ..Thank you, fu TuRo Media..
Tx so much for your kind comment . It’s for people like you that I do these.
So very nice! Thank You
nice!
This is my favorite FAVORITE supremes song, always makes me a little teary eyed... and this remix... my mascara... I looked like a Mexican soap opera.
I hope sometime you can do one for “Everything is Good About You”, my second.
Music super divino
Did you change Ross's phrasing on "a feeling so divine ..." or is this a different take than the single release?
I don't recall manipulating that line, there were definitely others I moved a bit.
Great channel, listened to all the songs and sub'd. Is there anyone else that does remixes like these?
Tx a lot John!
Nice! 😊💙👍
Great!!!!!!!!!!
BRILLIANT I LOVE Your Work ;)
Where did those higher vocals at the end come from? I've heard several mixes of this song but took notice at the higher notes Ross did.
I created them from the original vocal using pitch manipulation. Rather than use the same lines over again I simply created the variation that I would normally ask the vocalist to do if I had recorded the original session.
Where’s the image. No image’s, just sound. Hmm.❤
