I cannot get over how much work went into this one. Watching you work with that gigantic shell, hollowing it out, pouring concrete in, pouring concrete out, figuring out the water pump... it was just so stressful, but the final design is absolutely gorgeous and totally worth it. Just, wooooooooow.

Just a thought from an old lady: In the 60s-70s there were things called "rain lamps," that looked like a garden surrounded by rainfall. It was actually oil dripping down wire. It is a cool effect, at least for child me😂. But you might want to check those out.
This is one beautiful masterpiece that Goddess Venus would bless your art, I did drew the birth of Ariel from large art to mini canvas painting, the big art is gonna be on sale while my mini canvas of it will stay with me, however I did drew the birth of Ariel in free hand sketch so I'll put the two art sketches in my handmade Hextian Binder where they'll be safer. Hi HeXtian, I love how you explained the process that you went through for this project. I certainly understand now why you didn't do the things that you wanted to do. I did suggest more lights, to enhance her in the comments of that video but that certainly would have made this project so much harder and longer. Who knows you may decide to extend on this project later and if you do can you video it so we can follow along with you?

The end results can speak for themselves 🤩 but we love hearing all these BTS bits you can give us 😊 I’m only about 4:20 minutes into the vid, but I wanted to get this though down before I forgot- 🤔 I wonder if the falling water droplet idea can be done with like… have these thin chain or string of beads/pearls draped down from the top of the shell? Like having the chain to guide the water downwards? Maybe the water pump can pulse or have the water accumulate to a certain amount, then fall as droplets? Idk, I’m no engineer 🤷♀️ but that was what came to my mind 😋

I love your new intro. I know you’ve used it for a while, but I haven’t commented on it before. This version of the Ariel doll is just gorgeous. I love the shell and the festooned pearls, the inside is absolutely stunning, and the transition from the dress to the shell is amazing. You’re so lucky to have good people to get to make the dresses you use for these dolls. I crochet, but I couldn’t sew if my life depended on it! If anything I made has a seam, you can bet that I crocheted it.
This creation is just so magnificent, I wish I could buy one for myself... It's just GORGEOUS, and I'm happy for a second video about it explaining and discussing stuff. Just keep an eye out for something to replace the current base, you'll find something eventually. You could even sculpt your own stuff onto it if you get enough apoxie sculpt. This is just peak perfection and you are right to be very proud of it!!!!

Hello Hextian, thank you for the video! I think your newest Ariel looks amazing! Regarding wanting the water fountain to be more ornate, maybe you can buy one of those grecian columns (I think they are for holding flower vases or statue busts) to sit the basin on top of to get that silhouette of the previous fountain. And maybe you could use the molds of those ornate shapes for your good Ursula doll to cover the basin with as well. Also, if you ever try to work on having water flow from the top of the shell, maybe just do two tubes, one on each side of Ariel? Just so that there isn't water hiding her from view. It is just so cool to see your work evolve and get more detailed and elaborate as time goes on. Great work!

HeXtian, when you want to use a stronger pump with a trickle effect, make sure you stuff a piece aquarium filter sponge in each tubing. That will help control the water flow.

Such a cool piece!!! Loooove the pink mother of pearl inside the shell!! ❤ What if you glued the pebbles on the bowl that holds the shell up? And maybe faux marble paint the bigger bowl.. I think if you fill in the rim of the bowl, it would look less like plastic too.
She is lovely and definitely looks like Venus Rising. Have you ever seen oil bead lamps? Maybe you could have a fountain under and oil beads flowing down coming from top?? What about something lighter for shell like Styrofoam mixed with apoxy sculpt/clay or paper mache.
I have seen those but apparently they collect so much dirt and grime and they are impossible to clean. Lol also i dont think oil and custom dolls would mix 😭 maybe if she was just a complete figure statue 🤔
