Great little video. I’m hearing lots of good reviews from this new range of binoculars. I currently own the swarvoski SLC 8x42 which are nice but a little bit bulky to carry around all day so I want a second pair for more casual birding when I’m cycling around the city so I will most likely buy the 10x30s once they get released in spring. Hopefully they will fare up as good as the 8x40s. It would be great to see a review once they’re in stock
It's embarrassing. Porro prism are just as good, if not better. There's no astronomical Roof prism binoculars. Why? They can't gether enough light. It's marketing bs.
I bought a pair of 8x40 last week and I'm delighted with them. The image is bright and the DOF is excellent .
I heard the focus wheel is quite stiff, true?
@@crimsonpearl4686 I haven't noticed that at all, just nicely dampened.
Im interested in the Sfl 8x40 too, what's your opinion on them compared to others?

Do these have Schott glass?
What do you use to film thru the binoculars?
