Thanks coach, I spoke to the refs before the game to get clarification on the rule and they stated 5 yards before they get called for illegal man down field so I was excited! Tonight we ran the speed ball tempo using 3 by 1 formation play side inside zone read backside QB keep if end crashes or throw the wide receiver screen backside! In our 2 by 2 set we went outside zone read playside with the same concepts backside. We scored 42 points in the game it was beautiful to watch. We go no huddle all hand signals the plays were easy to set up we called them based on the ball placement on each hash mark!
I am intrigued by the flexbone and actually incorporate double wing stuff into our package. True option guys that run inside outside veer and midline usually won't be speedball fans because they like to call their plays to certain fronts
you prolly dont care but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my password. I would love any tricks you can offer me
@Ira Christian thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm in the hacking process now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Troy Fetty Thanks Coach, forgot how tough starting new is. Got spoiled being at 1 school for 15 years. Learned a lot and hopefully I can share some insight.
Coach, this is more of schematic question but what is your opinion on the Flexbone? Also, what is your opinion on maybe implementing a Speed-Ball Flexbone scheme?
Coach great stuff, quick question how do you communicate the route you want to run on the 1on 1 side? Then what are you telling the qb to look for pre snap in order to know what play to run.
Coach, question regarding speed ball tempo.. QB always reads frontside RPO, unless they spin or rotate the safety..then it’s automatic backside access throw? If that’s correct.. how would you communicate to your QB the backside is available if the QB isn’t realizing it’s open? As you said you’re going speed ball and running the same play as fast as possible. One more question, how many RPOs\ speed ball concepts do you have in the game plan per game? And do you change your speed ball concept each game? Thanks! Looking to install speed ball tempo this upcoming season.
Ruben Flores This may be far fetch but I'm assuming the QB knows what's available when the spin occurs because it's been prepped for during the week. If its missed after one possession, then it's almost for certain it'll be available for the next series to be exposed.
I was thinking of some read schemes out of the split back formation. I drew a couple up and we ran one play where we would put the H in motion then run zone read. If the MLB went with the motion play we just ran the zone play but if he stayed we threw the screen to the motion player. I toyed with this play and added some passing concepts. We ran them in our last game using speed ball tempo and put up 35 in the first half. Thanks for introducing me to this style of tempo.

Glad it helped. That type of draw read is very tough to defend. Add the access throw backside in case teams rotate a safety down.

Please do a video explaining hot routes.. Or incorporate it in the next video please.
Hey coach do you have any tips for shotgun split back?
Hot routes in 5 step passing game?
What are you trying to run?
