Wow. That commentating was great and very easy to listen to. After watching and playing pool for many years, this had to be the best commentator. We need to hire him for the mosconi cup.
Appreciate the compliment thanks for watching!
thanks Chris
After The Pearl now we have The Maharaja, again great commentary, thanks BN ! And know I will try to put a speed number to my shot, thanks for the advice Imran !

That is one of the best races i've ever seen even i was under pressure while watching and enjoying the safety shots to hard to make shot and kicking and everything
And last but not least great commentator
Big love from KSA
Thanks for the compliment!
Imran, on point. Quality commentating.
But it's not commentary. True commentary doesn't spend all its time predicting shots BEFORE players shoot. Rather, it makes comments on shots players decide to shoot AFTER they shoot commenting on why and how a shot was made, the shape received, speed and english used, angles considered, other balls on the table and so on. There's plenty to talk about, but predicting shots is like an addiction. It becomes a game to see how well the prediction was made. Once started, it's about all a so-called commentator does is predict and little attention is given to the other things I mentioned. A little prediction is ok as long as it doesn't become the only commentary given.
I wish they hold a big international doubles tournament with the modern players of today paired up with the veterans, say Earl the pearl/SVB or Fong pang chao/Ko ping chung, Ralf Soquet/Joshua Filler or Efren Reyes/Carlo Biado, list goes on... I would love to see it
That’s an idea for the future
That would be awesome👍
we actually have some really nice double scotch matches ready to be uploaded
Love the camera angles where we can see the point of contact on the cue ball and also the spin. Love the commentary too!
Thanks Mad Hatter!

I believe Filler would win in a race to 100.The reason escapes me perhaps his potting ability ,and confidence is why I feel that way.
I don’t feel that way. Fedor is better than Joshua.

oh yes, Filler, hands down, race to 100
@@billiardnetwork Earl's commentary is amazing. It's instructional the way he talks through the shot selection. I'd encourage all of the announcers to mix in a bit more of that.
Imran did a good job on this one of creating a good tone for watching a match. It was fun.
Kevin Thompson it’s funny but you can tell why Earl was the greatest 9-ball player who ever lived, just from the way he commentates. He legit has more knowledge than anybody out there. A lotta people don’t realize this, but SVB and Jayson Shaw both got a lot of knowledge from him. So they play quite similarly too! Seeing the way Earl played back in the 90’s with Efren is the most beautiful thing ever.
“Killa filla “😂👌🏽👍🏽 filler is a beast!
thanks for watching
Filler would win race to 100
🔥🔥🔥
thanks for watching!...
both players made a mistake here or there, but very very solid over all, and tightened it up real quick. Joshua Filler had a few ball in hands that maybe he could of better capitalized on. Really should try to find extra motivation for the ball in hand even if it a tough run out or tied up balls.
damn,this commentary is 2 good.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the compliment...much appreciated!
What happened to the finals, who played ?
Saed Vargas coming up later!
Big comment and big match.
I like the commentator
There are blinking lights around the playing area? What in the world are they thinking?
I don't like it when camera footage frequently abandons the table. I especially dislike camera angles that show only the player without the entire table also being in the shot. Limiting camera changes is better. I do like overhead cam replays of the break, however.

The 3 point rule is a bad rule! Earl Strickland is right, put a radar gun in the room and pick a speed like 19-20 mph's. That's it problem solved. I mean it suks when you make 2 balls on the break and theres actually a chance of it being illegal. Anyone have a better idea. I'm all about it
In a race to 100, I think Filler would win, but just barely. It would be a very close match. As far as shot making, Earl in his prime would destroy Filler, but he pretty much did that to everybody when he was in his prime! Lol
Can we recognize that 4/9 kick combo by Filler in the first game.
Earl Strickland in his prime? What about SVB? SVB's 5 9 ball open wins are more impressive since those wins were global..
Some may argue that the competition was considerably tougher back in the day.
@@billiardnetwork 🤔
58:54 hmmm close but not really, till this point Fedor pulled out some better shots
he was very steady
49:50 to 50:15 Illegal break...Joshua passed the shot back to Fedor.
Why is fedor cuetec shaft ferrule black
What shaft did fedor use? there was no white ferrule I believe..
the ferule was broken....he's abck to regular now. thanks for watching!
Carbon fiber shafts dont need a ferrule. They usually put a black pad between the shaft and tip.
What shaft is fedor playin with dont look like a cuetec
it is just had the ferule broken. back to the white one now
Cuetec cynergy
Imran Majid they all have white Under the tip this one he had looked like a revo or somthing
It was actually a Cynergy where the white vault plate broke. Therefore it was completely black like a revo or something.
Pretty much all carbon fibre shafts have white vault plates now.
Best shotmaker? Prime Earl or Filler? Prime Earl. Best shotmaker ever? Earl, Shannon Daulton, Ronnie Alcano, Willie Mosconi, Luther LAssiter, Jason Shaw, Antonio Lining, Toby Sweet, Alex Pagulayan, Harold Worst, Rodolfo Luat, Jimmy Bryant, Ronnie O, George "Ginky" San Souci, Bugs Rucker, Nick Varner....but under pressure for the cheeze has to be Mike Sigel.

@@paintballer1538 Sigel unstoppable.
Gotta get Varner into that mix.
@@trple2 after some thought(i actually saw him miss some critical shots), yeah in his prime he could really pocket 'em.
In the 11 th game, Gorst breaks and makes the 1 ball. He takes his time to play the 2 ball off the rail. A ref is called to watch. If you slow the video down in "settings", you can see at about 51.55 that he fouls on the red ball in front of the 2 ball. Watch Gorst just after the shot and he shrugs his shoulder realizing the ref was wrong.
Question 1: Who would win race to 100? Filler because of his $ game experience.
Question 2: Earl Strickland on his prime vs Filler? Earl Strickland of course with 6 US open wins and so on.
Good match, but the commentary made me turn the sound off.
You are one of the few who know what true commentary is and appreciate it. I think all the others have never heard true commentary and don't realize what they can learn from listening to it.

totally agree. I've played with carbons shafts, but I didnt like the way it feels. Ima stick with wooden shaft.
Gorst is the only young player to truly threaten Filler
Fedors nickname should be “The Ghost”, if he doesn’t have one already. Sounds kind of cool to me
I made all my replies and one comment below on the first game. But after watching it into two games, I have to agree with Bo Nesbit below and will leave watching this match. Fortunately, Joshua has many other matches I can watch.

These guys are world champions for a reason. You know you are damn good when you beat Filler on a day when your cue ball control is a bit off lol.
anyone can be a champ with those pockets...american pool is a fucking joke. Pools in my country dont have those buckets for pockets, and it makes it way harder to shoot shots like these without misisng a few.
table size measure plz

El sr o maestro Efrén bata reyes si sabe de apuestas altas tiene la frialdad necesaria por eso en mi opinión es el mejor de mi tiempo
Flashing lights surrounding the table? What in the world were they thinking?
U can t see any once down on the shot
Auf 100: sehr ausgeglichen, ansonsten Tagesform der einzelnen Sessions
Wenn Joshua drauf ist, wird er sich einen Abstand erarbeiten
So you write filler vs ouschan when it's actually filler vs fedor? You guys need to fix this....
Dimitri Ngoye thanks ...the graphic designer changed it and made a mistake
Question to anybody:
To qualify as a legal break, can the required number of balls go past the headstring, bounce off a rail or two and come back out? Or do the required number of balls have to go past the headstring and STAY past it in order to be a legal break?
It can bounce off rail and come out

Filler to strong for him
All you are doing commentating is predicting shots and this is not true commentating. On Joshua's kick shot making the combo 8-ball, all you said was, "Wow , what a really good kick shot" or something like that. You said nothing so fans could learn something about playing pool and how he made that shot, why he shot it the way he did, the alternatives he had, the angles, english and speed he needed to use and so on. You may be a nice guy, but you felt satisfied to just predict the shot , especially when Joshua did exactly what you predicted. What good was that except for your ownself?
