Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man is my favorite theme park attraction period. Cosmic Rewind is lots of fun but there's almost too much happening and not enough focus on story scenes once the ride begins. The queue and intro do more for the Guardians license than the ride itself and all the up and down launching and feeling of bouncing/hanging on Mission Breakout actually makes me feel more nauseous than any other ride. Universal completely nailed a Spider-Man ride experience in a way that Disney or anyone else has yet to nail any IP.
I actually love the web adventure ride when I went to Disneyland Paris I found it better than buzz tbh like it was more fun and the aim of getting the enemies are easier and the spider bots are so cute too.
The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman is what Web Slingers wishes it was. My issue with Web Slingers is that i didn't know what I was supposed to do a majority of the ride. I spent half the ride trying to figure out what to do, and by the time I did understand, the ride was pretty much done. My family waited almost 3 hours for it. It's safe to say that we were extremely disappointed
I haven't been on all these, only went to Disneyland once, and the Web Slingers ride was in construction back then...so for me Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man is my favorite followed by Hulk, then I'd say Mission Breakout, and Doctor Doom.
As far as I’m concerned, the best Marvel Attraction is still The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man. It’s very unique and is wonderfully themed. I have a soft spot for W.E.B Slingers though. Just personal preference.
WEB slingers is one of my favorite rides there! My whole family and I love that ride so I’m surprised that it’s so low and that others don’t like it so much.
It’s just that the ride seems a little mediocre as far as what they could do with an MCU Spider-Man attraction. The concept itself is fine, but I feel like they could’ve done just a bit more

I swear i'm the only person that like WEB Slingers. I mean yeah compared to Spiderman at Islands of Adventure of course it doesn't hold up. But i think it works pretty well being a more down to earth attraction instead of a huge mega grandiose adventure. After all he is your friendly NEIGHBORHOOD Spiderman.
I definitely see your point. The only thing I’d have to disagree with is that it’s based off the MCU Spider-Man, meaning they could do so much more with it being that specific Spider-Man is definitely the most complex and “modern”
I just wish a Spider-Man ride was cooler not like midway mania in the same park. They could’ve made another rollercoaster or something , it just feels like they could have done more with web slingers than they did.
@pupstuff maybe I'm alone in this but I like that almost all the MCU rides happen on a mostly small level with the exception of Cosmic Rewind. Always having to save the entire city or even the whole world gets kinda tedious as a plot point, but saving 5 people or even just the campus? I can get on board with that! I also like that Web Slingers acts as a virtual tour of the land. Now having said all of that, Disneyland PARIS' version is a lot lamer to me than California's

GotG at Epcot is a fun ride, but the story line is basically a mess and hard to understand. The coaster is basically Space Mountain with a few screens and the ability to turn (which Gringotts has done for years)

That’s true it does use the same sort of system, but I think compared to the other marvel based attractions, it’s truly out of this word (no pun intended) and actually makes the rider feel apart of the story. Same can he said for the other guardians attractions and adventures of spider man for sure.
The spider man ride at California adventure is the same exact concept as super Mario in universal studios Hollywood, and the spider man ride in Orlando is the same concept as transformers in hollywood
I wouldn’t say the exact same concept because the Mario one actually has cool effects to everything, and Mario is literally a video game to begin with. But yea spider man and transformers are the exact same lol

There are two other rides like Web Slingers in Disneyland so it’s understandable that people hate it especially since Disney perfected the shooter ride the first time around with Toy Story Mania.
The ride is ok, it’s just that for nowadays everyone expects great quality attractions from Disney, especially with the price they charge for tickets. So the fact that they have multiple rides the same quality as a six flags park yet charging a lot more is kinda insane
@@themeparktheories1040 I think a lot of the hate also has to do with the fact that it is the only ride that opened with Avengers campus. I think overall the entire land is kind of boring, lackluster and doesn’t make any sense theme wise but that’s just my opinion.

People were expecting something big and grand and the ultimate theme park ride like rise of the resistance, but we ended up getting a toy story mania clone basically, and a bunch of bland walls with the avengers logo, so yea that could definitely be a reason behind its hate.

exactly. not only the queue line is expertly themed, but the story is immersive.
Its amazing how they where SO accurate to the mcu by making the gaurdians stuff easily the best they have to offer!

My favorite Marvel attraction is the Spiderman ride in Universal Orlando. It’s perfect.
I believe in Hong Kong Disney has two Marvel themed rides. One ant man and one iron man
Ant-Man in Hong Kong is a retheme of Buzz Lightyear, which is why it is so similar. It was opened before Avengers Campus was announced.
