If you see any 17th century Grimoires, I'd really appreciate if you could grab one for me. The one I have is falling apart from the binding and is half on fire... I'd blame the dragon, but it's just a hatchling and doesn't know any better.
I don't think I will ever get used to Kayvan and Natasia's actual voices, I believe them in character so much that I can't imagine they're acting. It's like seeing the puppeteers under the muppets, you believe the illusion so much that reality seems less real than the performance. Particularly Kayvan, he's very subdued and easygoing in his set interviews and so... not Nandor lol. I swear there must be a switch that gets flipped when they put the fangs on
Kayvan has range, when he did Brains on Thunderbirds Are Go, he could switch into a British Southeast Asian accent w/ stutter without effort. The man is a solid actor!
Not sure what you mean; just a small group of totally regular humans…..the shorter, portly, cheeky fellow reminds me of a gentleman I once met in Tucson, Arizoñah…..
The fact that this show has never even been nominated for the Emmy for production design is ridiculous. If this season doesn’t get one, they should just retire the category.
What's more shocking is that none of the actors are ever nominated. If Matt Berry does not get nominated this year then there is indeed some backlash going on with the Emmy committee regarding this show. I wonder if it's looked down upon because it's not, you know, "reality" as if any sitcom is!
Kayvan does such a great job with the voice, the accent, and even facial expressions to the point where, even in full vampire makeup and everything, he truly seems like an entirely separate person from Nandor. It honestly boggles my mind!
@@sovereign2989 Precisely! It's hard to believe he admitted that he felt he'd done such a poor job filming the pilot episode that he went back to his hotel that night and cried. (He said that in an interview once, but Idk which one.)
I never thought about the time and effort that went into producing the show nor the efforts of having such a huge cast in some episodes .Natasia is delightfully sarcastic herself, no wonder Nadja is too. I adore this show 🦇🦇😘🦇
One of the best shows of ALL TIME! Loved the original film it derives from & love how uniquely refreshing the tv series has been. It's hard to not fall in love with every single character on-screen. Here's hoping we get a 7th & 8th season confirmation!! I just wish it was longer!! And also, Guillermo & Nandor better eventually end up together or I'll riot. :')
This show brings me so much freaking joy. The humor is clever and I love the historical aspect. The actors have been phenomenal. Nothing can compare. They’ve stayed true to the film but the depth they get to go to is just beautiful!
After seeing the original WWDITS, I started watching the TV show & absolutely love it. Since it's filmed in Toronto, I recognize some of the outside places they film in. The night market was filmed in the old Hearn Generating Station in the Portlands that was decomissioned & now used for filming & other events.
I’ve been watching this show for the past month almost through season 4 and just now realized it’s still an ongoing show. I thought for sure it was like from 2013 or something and over. I’ve never been so satisfied to know it’s not over. Thank you Nadja for being my femdom goddess of the darkness.
Could Hollywood PLEASE create a mandatory rule that if you create a beautiful set like the one on this show, that they have to make it PERMANENT! ?! I hate it when great sets are destroyed.
