Great fun hearing your tasting impressions for an amazing lineup - as you and Cody said, so difficult to guess the distilleries when these drams are so different from their normal younger distillery expressions
Happy belated! And nice comeback to salvage a point at the end. Teamwork makes the dream work- love the chemistry, the banter, and the added perspective. Let Cody out more often! Also, "Please be Bunna" is a life mantra of mine. Cheers to you both!
Hi Swedish whisky girl I bought a high coast timmer from Amazon for £38. It was an interesting whisky that reminds me of a muted Laphroaig.. I was surprised given that it was only 6 years old. I would give it a good mark and probably would buy it again. I just wanted to thank you for your recommendation.
Drinking old Spirits is about reminiscing the passage of times and memories of halcion days (ex: where one was 30 yrs ago, the World was different then, and our fave artists were still alive ...)). . . take you time. Great video !
I really enjoy the storytelling aspect of old whisky - who and how were they making whisky when it was produced and what did the world look like then ☺️
15:25 I'm a bit confused, you say this Bowmore 30 sample you tried is at 58% abv? I've googled extensively and cannot find any 30 year old bowmore release that was at 58% abv. Unless im mistaken about something. Might you remember the year of this sample release? Thanks.
I didn't even know that this sample pack existed so definitely feeling spoiled - so happy I got the chance to try it ! Not actually sure how much the pack was going for, but maybe someone else who reads these comments will?
I picked up a similarly aged dram sample set of similar aged whiskies for about 75quid but it was on a half price deal but bearing in mind that it contained 5 samples of whisky that would cost more than 1600 quid if they were full bottles it was a bargain to taste whiskies outside my budget

Wow, another great video as usual but then again with that lineup it’d be hard not to be great.
