It's because, like Luka, she knows when high is too high, and doesn't just keep going higher. Her voicebank keeps itself low, which sometimes is not that great for songs, but songs like Love Is War she has a great voice for since there are (nearly) no high notes.
Well... the notes I'm talking about were lower than the octaves at "last night, good night" so... if she can hit that in tune, then she should be able to hit the first verse beginning notes- those were what I was talking about. The reason she was below the pitch in the beginning was user error- not program error lol If only users of Lily & CUL (my favourites) would realize the "too high is too high, don't push it" rule for them since it applies to real life singers/voice providers.
