Coda recently launched Coda 4.0 which came with a bunch of new features. One of the more anticipated feature launches was a two-way cross-doc sync.
Cross doc as been around for many years now, but it has always been "view only" in any location except the original doc's table. Now, with two-way sync, you can edit a single Coda table in any document, and have it update live back in the source table itself!

Is it still relevant if we now have page embeds with editing capabilities that preserve conditional formatting, colors, and more? I'm curious about the comparison between two-way synchronization in cross-doc and two-way synchronization in page embeds. I've never been able to effectively utilize cross-doc functionality.

I guess so. Try grabbing the link to the file (where its stored on the coda server) and sending that over as a text... I think Scott also has a video where you can learn how to extract the url for a file...
