Ron played winning basketball. He was active on the boards and looking for the open man. He mostly drove to the lane when at the 3pt line.

What a game to be at! The energy when coming back, grit from Holland, Ivey looked revamped, they looked like a team! First play for Holland he got an offensive rebound creating a 2nd chance score. What a future stud. Excited for this team!

When Ron hit the floor and made that scrappy play. Where he kept us alive in a single possession to have another shot at the basket… team got SO much energy off it. Everyone turned it around 100%. Seemed like we were lost before that play by Ron, and then the team rallied behind that SINGLE possession effort from him.
Excited to see his presence more.

Ngl after that first quarter I said smh just like last season, but I kept watching them chip away at the lead, and I can't believe they ended up winning by 32 when lost by 17 that's a 49 point swing...absolutely incredible.

Ausar is our lock down opponent's best player guy. Ron Holland might be our defensive leader. The potential between both thos guys as two-way players is crazy. Malik might get that spot over THJ. Fontecchio looked nice. Beef Stew was BEEF STEW. Ivey was Poison Ivey tonight. Cade was as expected and thats not a bad thing. Duren passing was incredible. Reed was hooping. Guys who are probably not getting minutes played very well. Wendell moore and Daniss Jenkins finished the game well. Marcus Sasser showed he can an incredible scoring two guard(which we know). Bickerstaff main thing was not focusing on our young guys weaknesses, but their strengths. I saw mostly with ivey and Holland, but also Beef Stew and Sasser. I dont think ive seen Sasser do so many cuts. Team defense has definitely improved, team passing as well. #Detroitvseverybody

Anyone notice the pistons creating chemistry on purpose CADE/RON - SaSser/ Jenkins- Harris/ Reed.

Down by 17, and ended up winning by 33 that's a 50 point swing absolutely incredible to witness. Ron Holland looks like what we seen from Ausar the 1st month of last season I can't wait to see what having two of these same do everything "glue guys" on the team will look like.

If the Pistons can commit to playing solid defense like they did in this game, then they WILL be a playoff team!
Soild defense has always been the blueprint for a winning team here in Detroit. So if JB can have these boyz playing defense every game, then watch out! Pistons basketball will be back!💪💪

They don't have the personnel to play solid defense when the games actually count.

@@detroithustle-n-business9671 I don't expect them to play all of those first four together, and Duren shouldn't be on the list because he's a terrible defender.
      But
      BUT
if you can figure out how to score enough with those first four all in the game at the same time, you might really have something!

    • @detroithustle-n-business9671
      @detroithustle-n-business9671 2 месяца назад

@scottwickett1273 Well no I'm not saying play all these guys together at the same time, Im just saying they have guys that can defend! They can play them interchangeably.. And when you have guys that are going all out on the defensive end, then playing defense is contagious! So that's why I named Duran cause he should follow suit. I know he's not a great defender right now, but he's young and has the physical build and athleticism to be a solid defender if he really committs to it!
But IDK I guess we'll see when the regular season starts.

First of all, I loved Ron Holland and Marcus Sasser. Jaden Ivey was exactly what I thought he would be. However, Cade Cunningham was a little underwhelming. He is notoriously slow and methodical with his movements. I am going to need Cade to speed his game up, smh.

Happy about the ball movement and play calling. I know that all Bickerstaff. Still not happy Cade performance. Whenever he misses shot, watch his body language. He not a franchise player. Ivey looks way more confident and bulk up a little and always aggressive. Dame showed you what and how a Star is supposed to be. Just be glad Milwaukee bench him.
