@@Elian- E sharp and F have the same frequency, but they are conceptually different. Calling it an E# makes clear that its function is as the major third in the dominant chord of F# minor, while having an F natural in the key of F# minor would be weird. That doesn't matter if you're listening to it, but there is a good reason to call it E# in certain situations.
I can play this song from start to finish by heart. I learnt it by watching you. Thank you very much!!! Can you also play Mendelssohn - Venetian Gondola Song Op. 19 No. 6?
My teacher made me cry last time. Now I enjoy other interpretation s I'll do my best for audition thanks to all who contribute with such keen and heart 💖💓
I'm playing this at the moment so I was searching to see how have other people done it This gave me a very different picture and feeling than when I was playing which is always nice
Io sono di Venezia e tu suoni benissimo. A me sembra di rivedere l'acqua del Canal Grande la sera quando passavo con il vaporetto. Molto bravo! I'm italian from Venice and when you play this song, i remember the water in Canal Grande, when i was on the little ship in the night. Very excellent!
By the way, this is the speed that should be played, as I played this piece before, I confirm it. But, if u wanna play it slower, try to speed it down a little :) but, good luck on learning this piece, people!
Great Technic: still.....A BIT TOO FAST for my taste. Just a little bit slower would have combined your fabulous technic with the beauty of the Venetian Holiday Waterboat. THIS WAY it feels as if you were afraid to miss the last train to the airport!
your fingering is so clear, thank you so much for helping me learn this, i'm about 45 seconds in and feeling very proud of myself : )
Glad I can help :)
i’m up to 2 mins 20 now, it doesn’t get less beautiful and is magic to be able to play, i recommend this to all piano noobs like me
This is probably one of the most beautiful pieces I’ve ever heard
I’m learning it now and never has e sharp or b sharp felt more majestic
You mean F and C ?

@@FreeBroccoli Sure! The E# does make sense, although B# isn't relevant to F# minor
@@Elian- it's noted as b# in the score
Very beautiful song/played. Thanks for sharing.
I am playing this right now and it is truly beautiful
Magnifique bravo!!!!
C'est la musique que je dois faire comme devoir cet été.

How long did it take you and did you have any background, I will die happy if I can play just this one song perfectly.
@@ghost_3_actual319I've learned the first minute in a day, it's not even hard, and as you see some part is repeating.
One of my favorite 🤗
My teacher made me cry last time. Now I enjoy other interpretation s I'll do my best for audition thanks to all who contribute with such keen and heart 💖💓

If you consider all of it.... this is by far my favorite. .. tell me what it doesn't say ....I will smile and tell you it does.
Like if I had one of those accounts in Switzerland ... the tabs would be the password.
I feel like you don’t get as much credit as you deserve
Wow, are you even human? I love the way you play this. You’re going to inspire me. I love this song so much
Das ist Talent
This is the only channel I could find this piece on. I am learning it. In the future, can you please play a little bit slower? Thank you.
Abby Goldberg you can just slow the video
ruclips.net/video/yEIJtUClDJY/видео.html i think im late but... here you had this song in 4 parts... just in case you left the song..

Sigma sigma on da wall who’s the skibidiest of them all
Yes
So lovely 😊
Very nice and clear !
Could you tell me what hardware you use to light up the keys ?
anybody got the music sheet/ partiture?
By the way, this is the speed that should be played, as I played this piece before, I confirm it. But, if u wanna play it slower, try to speed it down a little :) but, good luck on learning this piece, people!
Disregard. This is part of a series called “songs without words”. Ha! Who knew. Beautiful.
I wonder why you play the trill at 1:14 starting on D and not C#? Most versions I've heard start on C#, which sounds better in my opinion.
Eliran Haziza it’s meant to be like that
Just felt like playing the trill like this. I think both ways are fine. It's the kind of things that changes every time I play!
@@Varyk Fair enough. Nice playing regardless!
Varyk agreed
Could you do Mendelssohn's Albumblatt in e minor op. 117, please?
nice Playing
this piece is so cloying i can only listen to it once a year
I’m applying for a School of the arts school with this song and Le’Avalanche
l’avalanche is a beautiful piece
Incredibly beautful. This is starting to reach Chopin levels.
Had to analyze this in class today

Hey:) could i use that song in my youtube video? with reference to your channel?
Sure, just please make sure to credit me in your video/description! :)
People who thumbs down are probably just jealous
very nice but im so bad at the trill 😂 it’s kinda sad
Lol it’s like low key really hard

Nice video, you play better than me
For the trill on this piece aren’t you supposed to start on the bottom note?
isn’t it called Venetian boat song?
Same thing, depends on the translation :)
the official title is “Venetianisches Gondollied”, but that could be translated as Venetian Boat Song or as Venetian Gondola Song. it’s the same thing
i just dont get trilling its just that one part of theory that i rlly struggle with idk
i liked this song until it became my grade 6 exam song...

Bence çok hızlı çaldın biraz daha yavaşla
Balkezes volt ez a Mendelssohn?
It is a very beautiful price and beautifully played, but the fingering is wrong and this song is all about technical prowess.
I'm just playing it too quick
Speedy gondales
This is way too fast
Same Bro
