I would love a 3d zelda with temples and dungeons
The legend of Link Zeldas adventure
If we have a Zelda led Zelda game, it would be cool if they leaned into the whole BoTW researcher side. It'd be so easy to have the dungeon exploration explained as Zelda exploring ruins to find out/decipher what happened to the Zonai or some other race. New gadgets could be unearthed technology, etc. I think it'd work quite well in a 2D game.
My dream: soulslike Zelda game. Path of Din is your warrior path. Path of Nayru is your mage path. Path of Farore is your rogue path. It could take place in its own hero-less legend or during Ocarina of Time's 7 years biding time for the hero.
A souls like Zelda would be so fun. That’s a great idea.

I would LOVE to see a brand new entry in the "top-down" series. I do also believe the likelyhood of a brand new Zelda game announced during this June's direct is somewhat reasonable. I'm HYPED ASF lmao!!!!!

Same here on "top-down". But without the miniature blur effect. That blur really messed with my field of view personally. At lease the option to disable it.

I think it’s possible to see a Zelda 4 swords game “calamity heroes” or something like that although I would settle for WW and TP and Minish Cap is high on my backlog list and would love them to remake that for switch 😊
I kind of like the “Hyrule Town Builder” idea you mentioned. Maybe we would play as Zelda from TotK and rebuild Castle Town and other settlements through out Hyrule.
Give us Oracle os Season and Oracle of Ages remake, and I'll be happy. But please... if it's laggy like Awakening...

Nintendo said they were done with 2D Zelda games and were only focusing on 3D Zelda’s for the foreseeable future. They said there’s no reason to go back to the 2D style anymore.

It could be a game that focuses on Zelda's time in the Sealing Wars. That being said it could be another Warriors or a puzzle solving that focuses on getting allies. Second, Hyrule Warriors main character is Link. Both versions focused on Link.
I’m predicting that the successor to the Switch will be announced for a late 2024/2025 release. I also believe they are going to announce that Metroid Prime 4 will be a launch title and Pokemon Legends ZA will release for both consoles.
I hope be announced the new switch 2 sometime. I think be June or something.

If they do Oracle, they should fulfill the original idea and make it a trilogy that connects. Zelda could be the protagonist of the third one.
A Zelda lead game sounds interesting. However I'd rather have a traditional Zelda game staring link or a port of Twilight Princess. That said inflation is so damn high that I cannot afford video games. I have money saved, and I'm not spending it on a Zelda main character game. If that's the Zelda game we're getting; then I'll buy an expensive Wii U Twilight princess copy. Haha
They're probably going to use this game as a prequal to the bigger story that's inevitably coming to Switch 2.
Hear me out here for a second. A metroid-vania style game, where zelda and link go to a foreign land for... Reasons, link ends up getting captured and zelda needs to rescue him, going all over the map, solving puzzles, obtaining power ups and defeating bosses. Boom

Hoping for a return to the classic 3D Zelda formula. I miss dungeons.
If the next gen will truly run at a stable 60FPS, they are best to release the next Hyrule Warriors on the Switch and new console at the same time.

I think a regular 2D adventure or a Warriors title would be not creative enough for Nintendo, I do think they would want to do a spin off. Though, I could see a 2D adventure being the case if done differently, not just Zelda instead of Link. I think a cooler concept would be something that shows off her attributes, as the wielder of the triforce of wisdom, Link holding courage it makes sense for him to go on a perilous quest. But what if for Zelda the adventure/puzzle solving holds the purpose of restoring Hyrule, her dealing with resources to deal with issues of her citizens, maybe dealing with neighboring countries, something more inspired by the Civ games, something Nintendo really hasn't delved into too much, civilization building. I think that could be interesting, and if fleshing out the area around Hyrule a lot more expansive lore could be carved out, and you know how Zelda fans love that
After age of calamity I have a refreshed joy in playing warriors games. Especially when they have such rich cut scenes. I think there is a big opportunity to do hyrule warriors: the imprisoning war. Flesh out the story of Zelda back in time fighting Ganon without link and the original sages. Would be a Zelda focused story and allow us to get a ton of new story of Zelda’s time in the past.
We will have to see.

I am hoping that it’s an epic Zelda game open world. I know it doesn’t really make sense so soon after TOTK, and is very unlikely, but idk I am not a big fan of the 2D style, and I feel like there are already so many warriors games, but seriously would be cool to have a cool new epic Zelda game. Something completely new. OR Ocarina of time remake. 😂 The town builder would okay, but seriously would love a RPG or open world Zelda game. Haha.

I think it will be great for a new zelda game but mostly next year like the first zelda game for the new year with the switch 2 I have mixed feelings about the switch 2 so when you guys get the switch 2 let me know how you guys like it. We still need to have Ocarina of time, majoras mask, the Oracle games, link to the past, links adventure, phantom hourglass, spirit tracks, and the first zelda game. Right now we are waiting for wind waker HD and twilight princess HD there ready to go we just need the release date for these games to come out on the switch. So I still think we will get these games I'm not losing hope yet.

These zelda main protagonist rumors need to die down. I’m looking forward to a new 2D zelda game not a zelda main protagonist. If it happens I would much rather it be a small side game that launches with a new 2D game for the series, huge letdown if they end up just making a zelda protagonist. Can’t even see a good story out of that kind of game this isn’t Mario we are talking about here. Would defeat any purpose from the other games we have had in the series if this game comes true. Zelda is the bearer to the triforce of wisdom and the reincarnation of the goddess hylia NOT the triforce of Courage and the SPIRIT of the HERO. If zelda could have done it now, why couldn’t she do it before? Because she lacks the spirit of the hero. I’m pretty sure skyward sword explains why this is the case to begin with. If a Zelda protagonist happens it would most likely be a short game and a new villain who isn’t much of a threat that wouldn’t require a call for Link to play his part.

I hope it’s not a warriors/musou game. Although it would be one less game I have to buy if it is because I hate warriors/musou games. They are all the same thing to me.
