Beautiful'..I do companion planting in containers with crop succession ! When a "pot" is no longer producing , i plant something else. I use beans and peas as a companion plant to add nitrogen to the soil for my tomatoes and peppers. Raw peas are like candy to me ! You inspire me . I grow in about 330 pots from 3-8 gal I also use flowers to add color and texture . My favorites are zinnias and Angel's trumpets (Jimson Weed)

My marigolds did the same. It struggled and some didn’t make it. I got it from a big box store.
Be careful of the red vein sorrel. It got massive roots.
Normally I start my marigolds from seed, but I did pick them up in the big box store because they were on sale for one dollar 🥰
My yellow marigold from big box store is struggling too.

Was also wondering how that works please share. I have a pump which works OK but looking for better way to use diatomaceous earth

Nothing I water and all mums starts coming in early spring
