That Magnum is a highly sought after car in the Mopar community. That 6.1 HEMI is gold. The intake manifold alone sells for $800. The 6.1 HEMI also has the best crank out of all the HEMI's.
The glove compartment allows for coding of a new key. There is a plug back there people can connect to. If you can take some extra effort to zip tie that thing somewhere else.. hide it in the dash.. You're good. There is another tap in point in the Trunk behind the passenger side back seat. Now you know. Fix it. I work at place that program vehicles. This is the common tap in points for easy access. The harder part is connecting to the SGW module located behind the radio or something in the driver foot well close to the obd2 port.
That intimidator probably was too expensive a month so they got it stolen the parts that came up missing just happen to be able to change a scat pack or rt into a freak for cheap

@@scraplifegarage Please say about you buying the Durango. It needs a little drop and some wheels. If you don't get that then I think you should get an Escalade and toss in some forged rods and pistons, a ported LT4 supercharger, cam, LT4 fuel setup, and drop it with some nice wheels.
i once owned a Ford 1ton crew cab dually that was black n gray outside with a red interior....never again! it was like riding around inside a used tampon! i was so glad when i sold it though it was a great truck i just couldnt stand the interior!
That challenger with the transmission, heads and supercharger missing is a insurance job. If it had legitimately been stolen there would have been significantly more damage and that engine would have been pulled out completely rather than time taken to pull the parts specifically

What's the point in buying parts cars when no scrap parts seller never properly publishes/lists parts for sale, and when they do they damn near charge oem or higher prices for used parts... seriously it's extremely frustrating that these ppl never take pics of what they actually offer; they never properly list part items; they always think parts are worth full manufacture price; they never list the parts so you have no idea who has what... what kind of business model is it where you expect customers to call up over 1k sellers just to try and find parts they need? Example there are probably 100 srt seats just sitting around and aren't listed anywhere, or if listed they all just share the same pics from other sellers that may not even be the same thing, they also rarely lable item descriptions correctly; so how are buyers able to find the parts we need as we can't because of sellers utter incompetence

ive bought a bunch of srt8s and people will steal the good drive train and then dump a core engine with a hole or some other damage, when the tow guy picks it up he is just looking at the vin not what. engine is supposed to be in it . also some.people will total out there car this way with mechanical damage ,, get the pay out on insurance and for there engine when they sell it used on the side they just dump a beat blown ass engine in the frame just for insurance
The main reason I gave up on trying to buy a Trackhawk or any SRT Dodge/Jeep is because of how stolen they are. They went from being cool and all to being pretty dangerous to own which is sad because they are dope cars.

Hellcat prices are dropping like a stone. Insurance is killing them off.......so street legal cars are not making the money they were a few years back.....its not unusual to see them in the low $40's now. Co-Part recoveries should be even cheaper going forward.....
