I love your channel! You're very underrated and right now I am currently a sophomore, and my GPA isn't the best with a bad unweighted GPA. I didn't sadly take AP classes in both years so I am taking aps in my junior and senior. Would you recommend taking 5APs and 1 Dual Credit for US History to get in the top 10 percent? Right now I have a 3.8 weighted GPA with no ap's. What do you recommend? Please respond thanks!!

Also, this is what I am taking, AP Human Geo & AP Phys half and half, AP Cal, AP English 3, DC Us History, Anatomy, and Physiology, and my personal choice.

Thank you for your support! I would personally make sure to start taking dual enrollment classes (as those are easier than AP) and some AP. The AP classes are ideal because you can get both college credit and a weighted GPA boost. 5 is quite a lot however if you haven’t done them before. I think 3 would be more manageable for your Junior year but maybe consider taking AP environmental science online if you want another AP class that is relatively easy. The more the better but you don’t want to have a workload that’s unmanageable

@@RUclipsSchooling Thanks, but will that help my get into the top 10 percent? Thanks for the idea of taking AP evo sci in the summer!

I’d say if you did 3 next year and 5 the year after you’d be in top 10% especially if you did an online AP class or two. Depends on the school but that would’ve been top 10% at mine

You could try to do four though. Just be prepared for a lot more work than previous years

My community college costed around 400-700. Around 400 for 3 credit classes and 700 for 4 credit.

I don’t have any personal experience with that program unfortunately… wasn’t available where I went to school

I attend a Early College High School, my school allows enrollment to dual-credit classes for free. Just the requirement of passing the TSI to state the obvious, other than that, there are not many other fees other than the necessities for the class like school supplies.

Can you do a video on extracurriculars; I don’t have any extracurricular since my school doesn’t have much.

Excellent. Nice GPA boost, and I started sophomore year for engineering technology. I'm currently on my 5th class as a junior. It's also free as long as you have a good enough GPA. We have both on campus DE and over at our local TCSG school. I'm doing AP next year (Environmental Science, teacher said it would be very easy and I love her teaching)
