As a runeblade main i am so happy. Aria is the best setting for me, and i already love florian's design and appreciate aurora's design too.

Yeah a balanced Chain ability for Aurora and an upgraded Mordred Tide that you have to work for looks super cool as far as designing goes.

Runeblade has hyped me since I got into the game in February, but couldn’t get into the two legal ones. Design wise and even how they seem like they are going to be played, these two new Runeblades got me hyped!

I’m glad to see you excited about these newcomers. They may be the new kids on the block when September gets here, but I’m sure they’ll make some ripples in the water.

If even 2 of these heroes are popluar *and* viable, this just tells players "Hey pack your AB3 or you're folding". Just like MST, this set is going to creep The Numbers but in a different way, if your deck can comfortably run AB3 you'll be golden, but if it can't you're more than likely cooked.

Totally agree. Like I said in a different comment this set is going to force people to build their decks better and I’m all for it. Every set is just impacting and changing the game without outright breaking it and I’m loving it!

@@tablegamestcg how will it force people to build better decks? some Heroes like Dash and Viserai don't change anything as they have innate AB 3, Guardians pack AB 1-4 depending on the meta which costs them 1-4 sideboard slots, etc.. If anything, competitive Arcane heroes restrict sideboard strategies as you always have to expect that weird damage type nobody else uses.

More so what I mean by building better decks is building better sideboards. In my experiences at least when test playing my decks online people don’t pack as much Arcane Barrier as they could and should. I think some heroes won’t really change there decks much like you said but for people who slack with Arcane Barrier in the sideboard they will have to build their decks better.

Short answer is no, but i think it might complexity creep the game a bit.

I agree that it won’t. I say that because whenever Aria gets brought up people think broken cards so I wanted to bring that point up in the video. I do agree though it’ll make the game more powerful/complex and likely force players to build their decks, or more likely sideboards, better.
