    It’s last call for The Gallaghers and you’re invited to the party to end all parties. After a decade of dysfunction, the South Side’s favorite clan is going out with the biggest bang ever. It’s going to be a wild last ride, but changes are coming that will force each of them to either step up or hit the road. And while devolving may come more naturally than evolving in a family where excess never gets old, they know one thing for certain - Gallaghers may grow up, but they’ll never grow apart.

    This pissed me off so much- like everyone, but mostly Lip, have just somehow forgotten that Liam is still a literal child and that he can't just go apartment hunting like the rest of his siblings. I think in the long run any one of them would be fine having him live with them like for Debbie it might be a bit of a stretch, Ian+Mickey would do it (although I don't think they are really wanting to be parents/guardians right now, and Carl would definitely do it but I just hate that lip made this decision and didn't even speak to the one sibling who literally RELIES on all of the other siblings for basic needs.

      @Kyla Lambalot yeah! I think people either love or hate Fiona, but I think everyone agrees that that was really crappy to just abandon Liam. Like she left, didn't sign over guardianship to anyone, didn't give anyone instructions to watch him or anything. She literally abandoned her child. Like the responsibility of the other siblings fell on her, but she CHOSE to take care of Liam, just to abandon him like Monica did to the rest of them

    • @lexi219
      @lexi219 3 года назад +23

      @Kyla Lambalot Yeah, but she became their legal guardian to keep them safe and out of the system. People keep saying it was a choice, but what other choice did she have? Debbie was literally placed in a child sweatshop foster home. By the time that Fiona left, she had spent the last few decades raising them. I don't get why it was such a big deal to expect the other four adult/soon-to-be adult siblings to take over at that point.

      and selling the house seems like a horrible decision for them and just added in for plot reasons.... like Lip turned down a free house to stay with his family and then decides to sell the house and split everyone up? so inconsistent

    • @mimimarie44
      @mimimarie44 3 года назад +51

      @@moodyangel5 I think it’s a great decision. The house that Lip and Tami were offered in the previous season was in another state. He still wanted to be near his family which is why they got that mini RV. That didn’t work out so they got a house. Now they’re losing the house.
      If they sell the house, each character will have their own space and privacy. This is also **huge** for character development considering they’ve been living in that house their whole entire lives.
      Also, think you forgot that Lip says to Debbie that every week they will have a family dinner at Lips house which means they’re still be together.
      This is could also be great for the series finale since that’s *the* Ghallagher house. The house we and the characters have been with since the beginning of the series. I feel like them selling it also symbolizes change. Them changing and growing as people. And that each character has their own lives now. It doesn’t always involves their siblings or Frank. Ian and Mickey have each other. Carl has his work. Lip has Tami and Fred. Debbie has Franny. And Liam is the exception to that because he still needs them.
      But all in all, it’s time for them to go their separate ways.
      May seem bad to you, but I know a lot of other people agree with me in saying it’s a good thing and I’m glad it’s happening.

      I don’t think none of them ever forgot about Liam. Really when you think about it, Liam was a very independent child. He was the youngest, intelligent and probably wouldn’t be so fucked up by upbringing like they were. When he was a baby Liam was always looked after, well loved and protected. That’s why Fiona was haunted by what happened to him with the coke. He was always special to all of them. I think because they were all older with real adult problems, that’s what made Liam be an afterthought, but not intentionally.

Whats worse is that Liam doesn't even know that she is a legal guardian considering he was only 2 at the time when it happened.

He slept with this hot Prof he was clearly in love with and that Amanda chick who had feelings for him when he thought they just had a friends with benefits thing going leaked a topless photo of the prof out of pure jealousy which got the prof suspended or something and she stopped talking to Lip. Then Lip got drunk and cussed Prof Yuens in his class out of frustration with his relationship troubles and smashed his car then Yuens bailed him out of jail. Then he broke into the hot prof's house drunk but was so hammered like Frank he didn't realize where he was or what he was doing she told him he had to leave and get help and never called the cops on him. Then he joined AA and met Brad who is Tami's brother in law and they later hooked up and he got her pregnant this leads to the present. Yuens also went to jail for another DUI and died in prison and I think Lip named his own kid Fred after Yuens which i think was his first or middle name.

      Ian and Mickey were happy to move to a new place. Carl fixed up the basement for himself. Debbie in 1 room, lip and Tami in another, Liam in the 3rd bedroom and I'm pretty sure that they could have turned the attic into a bedroom for Franny and lips kid. Then by the time Franny needed a room of her own Carl would probably have moved out so she could have the basement. Also, Carl's cop partner suggested turning the Alibi into a cop bar so maybe Carl could have moved into the flat upstairs with Ian and Mickey running it. Problem solved
