In the several years since I first watched this video I have gone on a long journey to find other videos to replicate the perfect qualities of this ASMR. You hit it on all levels. The combination of the voice, personality, the choice of role play. Others have done the library role play but have never come quite close to this. The sincerity of the love of the books and wanting to share the knowledge of them is so convincing. I come back to this one every so often to get a relaxing experience when I want to sleep or relax during the day. When I first watched this video I hadn’t realized that you no longer were doing anymore. I don’t know if you read these anymore but if you do I hope all is well with you in mind and body. May you have the same peace you bring me every time I watch this.

The reason why you are my ALL time favourite ASMRtist is because you ALWAYS include mouth sounds and that and a very small number of other things only give me tingles. I'm glad I found you because it saves me from searching for ages just to find mouth sounds.

In the ASMR community, as in all communities, I get the feeling that some individuals are sincere, while others have ulterior motives for making videos such as attention seeking or financial gain. As a result, I'm wary of any new ASMRtists, especially those that become instantly popular, and seem highly polished from the start. Many of my favorite ASMRtists are relatively obscure, although I do like a few of the popular ones. I have observed your efforts over the past few weeks as well as your quick rise to success, but had not come to a comfortable conclusion as to how I felt about your channel until I watched this video. It's true that you are vivacious and radiant in your disposition and beauty, but I now feel you are also sincere in your videos as well as in your attempts to respond to all of your comments and messages (which must be overwhelming at this point). You are also free of the misplaced "attitude" (which some categorize as "sassiness") displayed by a few of the popular ASMRtists, and I find this refreshing. Furthermore, I am duly impressed by your intelligence, thoughtful statements regarding literature, class, positivism, good-natured charm, and how you carry yourself with dignity. Like all ASMRtists should do, I feel you are truly here to help us relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of the world outside. We need more like you in the ASMR community as well as contemporary society in general.
I can relate to this so much. I really need to feel some kind of connection to experience full ASMR, so I feel that personality plays a large part in my experience of it. And the feelings I have for those content creators are just exceptionally fond--the way I feel about dear friends. Skepticism is a gift and a tool, so it means even more to me that you would give me your consideration. This was wonderful to read, so thank you sincerely.

Incidentally, I just noted that you used the term, "Cat's Pajamas" in your description. I do not know if this means you enjoy older music or not, since you used an expression from the 1920's, but one of my music channels is called "CatsPjamas1" (yes, pajamas is spelled pjamas in my channel name to be different). Anyhow, on this particular channel, I showcase popular music not only from the '20's, but from the early 1900's through to the end of the 1950's, categorized in playlists, year by year. I find that older music can also be very relaxing!

As an insomniac philosophy professor, I wanted to say that this video deserves special distinction for being literally the only Hegelian ASMR video on the Internet (of the hundreds I've seen). Thoroughly enjoyable and sleep inducing. Also more fun than the course on Hegel I took in grad school. And thank you for convincing me to read Pale Fire. You're a refreshingly reliable narrator.

OH MY GOODNESS..first time I have ever listened to this video..and I had chills running from my head all the way to my toes. I just got off of night shift and I have a hard time getting sleepy when I get home(even though I get sleepy by 3am at work lol)..but this video has almost knocked me out. That was amazing. The sounds of books are a big trigger for me. On top of that you are such a dedicated Librarian that you even have a bed behind your desk. Also you knowledge of the books was fascinating to listen too. I just read A Brave New World this year and loved it.

Out of everything that's good about this video, I'm most amazed about how natural you come across. I don't know a whole lot about acting, but I can tell when someone tries to hard or to little, and I think you could be a fine actress. Your sense of timing is just right, as if you were really having a conversation. One tiny remark: the crackling of the bag at the end was a bit harsh and startling.

Firstly I'd like to say that your videos are great. You plan these videos very well, and you share excellent knowledge on the topics you choose. Your book series is fantastic, and I'm a bit jealous of your library. I really enjoy role-play, rambling, and soft spoken asmr, so your videos so far have all done the trick for me. There is one complaint I do have about this video in particular, and that is your whisper. Not that you have a bad whisper, but in your other videos you have a beautiful soft spoken voice. For me there is something about a soft spoken that just seems more natural than a whisper. So while I love the content of this video, I do miss that voice. Cheers!

That was amazing. The sounds of books are a big trigger for me. On top of that you are such a dedicated Librarian that you even have a bed behind your desk.
Also you knowledge of the books was fascinating to listen too. I just read A Brave New World this year and loved it.

No, he's exactly correct. The Milky Way galaxy has a diameter of only about 100,000 light years. Anybody can look this up. If aliens at the edge of our galaxy looked at Earth, they'd see primitive humans just beginning to leave Africa, but no dinosaurs.
If aliens from the Andromeda galaxy, which is 2 million light years away, looked at Earth, they still wouldn't see dinosaurs. They'd see primitive Homo Erectus domesticating fire.
If aliens from the Virgo Elliptical galaxy (M87) looked at Earth, they still wouldn't see dinosaurs, because M87 is only 57 million light years away. They'd see the aftermath of the Cretaceous extinction: small, rodent-like mammals running around, but no dinosaurs.
You'd have to go out to 65 million light years, e.g. the distance to NGC 4845, to look at Earth and see dinosaurs.

Out of everything that's good about this video, I'm most amazed about how natural you come across. I don't know a whole lot about acting, but I can tell when someone tries to hard or to little, and I think you could be a fine actress. Your sense of timing is just right, as if you were really having a conversation. One tiny remark: the crackling of the bag at the end was a bit harsh and startling.

Firstly I'd like to say that your videos are great.
You plan these videos very well, and you share excellent knowledge on the topics you choose. Your book series is fantastic, and I'm a bit jealous of your library.
I really enjoy role-play, rambling, and soft spoken asmr, so your videos so far have all done the trick for me.
There is one complaint I do have about this video in particular, and that is your whisper. Not that you have a bad whisper, but in your other videos you have a beautiful soft spoken voice. For me there is something about a soft spoken that just seems more natural than a whisper. So while I love the content of this video, I do miss that voice.
