I've owned a Note Acenta Premium for 5 years from new and it's been faultless. Nice to drive even on a long journey. Best is the rear seat moves so extra boot space if needed but massive leg room in the back if carrying taller passengers. I'm 6 feet and there's loads of room front and back. Great little car.
I bought a 2014 Tekna in February this year (2020). I'm very short in height so I feel like I am in something that is massive. I bought a comfort cushion that has helped with driving it. I still miss my Audi A2 but starting to like this, especially the extras that my Audi did not have. I agree that it is very similar to a Honda Jazz.
I have the 1.2 three cylinder unit Supercharged of course, fast enough for me and I also like the roominess of this car, far superior to the good wife's VWPolo, I would recommend the Note to anyone, nice interior far better than the Ford Focus, get one!!
interesting to see the differences between countries on the Note, here in the US they omitted from including the moveable back seat and unlike the european Note we do get a spare tire. also the radio and climate control cluster is less cluttered than the euro spec note as instead of the auto climate control we get 3 basic controls for air conditioning functions. the exterior is basically the same aside from the US version not getting the side skirts that everyone else gets for some reason
test drove the Note Tekna yesterday.. so comfy and we'll spacious which is ideal for me as I've damaged my knee a few years ago, was a toss between the hyundai i20 or this 👍
What is this ridiculous idea they have these days of not having a spare? How many times would you use the last 300mm of space from the roof down. If you include a spare, you start using a space you never use anyway.
I couldn't get any more comfortable in this one than in the original. It still has an infuriating seat lift that leaves the front edge low and raises the back. Horrible. And the lack of a spare is a deal breaker anyway. No advance on the old one in fact, and you can't easily tell them apart at a glance anyway. The dash looks a bit ghetto blaster too. A great disappointment overall.
yes if they made the old note slightly bigger and a bit wider the seats would be alot better I find the seats a little too small I have a SVE 2006 1.6 petrol they are a good car
My delivery vehicle of choice is a 2014 Nissan Versa (Note). I LOVE the thing! Some say it is too tight for them, but I am a short fellow, so it is very roomy for me. I also cam haul a LOT of stuff! The back is surprisingly big for its size!
Oh Yes! Nissan have really smashed it out the park with the styling! Your kids would be so proud to be seen sitting in your Nissan Note on the school run. C'mon people - ladies you don't wear a big sack because it has plenty of room in it, so why would you drive an unforgetable box like the Note? There are other options, a Mini perhaps or a Fiat 500x. I drive an Alfa Romeo and I truly do not understand the appeal of the Note.
Looks so cheap inside! That horrible plastic... I have a 12 year old Focus and it doesn't look that cheap inside, it's all soft touch in side, the dash, the doors and mine's entry level... The only thing stopping me finding a new car is I can't find one that I like the exterior (like this) as well as the interior... This looks too much like the Juke on the inside and I could't wait to get out of that when I test drove it.
Billy Johnson Maybe you should actually try and get inside a new Note. Yes, its not soft touch plastics, but you'll need to take a hammer to the dashboard before it'll budge. The instrument cluster is also pretty sweet looking in person.
u are absulutely right, ı got 2014 15 tdci ford fiest, there are alot soft material used. ı drove note 1.5 dci 90 hp, it is complely uselss, looks so cheap inside. it is like renault or dacia inside
The reason people buy a Nissan Note is that it is well built, well appointed and reliable. Exactly what a family man who uses his car to get to work requires.
Jaques de Beaufort ,hi we struggle to choose between Ford focus,N. Quashqi and N.Note...I was wondering if you could share your opinion? Please.Regards,Andrei
The Nissan Note is better built, the ones constructed in Sunderland anyway, and they are reliable. The mid range models are best. I bought the Acenta with the sat nav, a good package. Service costs are also reasonable. My only concern is the lack of a spare wheel, but all the manufacturers seem to be moving in that direction.

yashasan83 Really late reply but the one you explaining seem like mash of of top and bottom range parts or alot of extras on a base model
Your cameraman should really look into what ND filters are for :)

There's a tyre repairing kit under the boot. You're meant to fix it yourself then you can bring it to a garage after.
when will there be a 4wd version of the note like the old one when!!!
Rip they stopped making new notes now
What is the 1.2 like on fuel consumption??
This car is one of the most fuel efficient petrol only car in the market, even for today, only hybrid car can compare to it.
1,5 Dci is good

The Note is unlikely to break down on a regular basis unlike a Fiat, Mini or Alfa.🙂 Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as they say.
