Omg! The story reminded me of a previous client I assisted with The fortinet unit was on a shelf, in a closet room. No vents or windows. The only window's boarded up (heck with that). They're a small airline group that has a branch in Alaska. And whenever they'd close the room or pile stuff on the fortinet, it'll trip out because of temp issues, affecting the whole site. I sent out an email recommending to have at least 2 fans for it if they can't relocate the unit to a more ventilated area-they scrapped it. So most likely this time the replaced fortinet died, and then they'd be ordering a replacement.
Great video, thank you for taking the time to teach. What if I wanted to trigger hardware that has a Type A or B plug? Tried searching for ways to convert it to a 3 or 4 pin type but I guess the difference in power is an issue. I’ll settle for USB powered hardware instead. Can USB power be turned on and off while still using an external power source?
