In an interview Kanami said that when she composes their songs she also writes the drum parts for Akane and sends the demo over to her but Akane always gets suprised coz Kanami writes the drum parts where its humanly impossible to play you would have to have an extra set of hands and feet to play it so they both discuss what works and drives Akane to step up her game everytime. For the bass parts she leaves it completely to MISA. Kanami lets her do basically anything she wants with the baseline for the songs. MISA comes up with the baselines and sends them to Saiki to hear and she admits that she just practically wants to be complimented with the bass parts she just wrote. 😂
They need an audience for the extra energy, the fans jumping and singing make them even better. Without public, they are professional and excellent musicians, but with a few thousand fans chanting, enjoying, adoring them these ladies are mighty world class rockers.
Nobody feeds or loves there fans anymore than this super band, and now with Saiki and Miku stepping up there games and finding there confidence, there’s just no limits what more can you say. just enjoy and keep supporting these special rockers as much as they enjoy entertaining us. Peace

I think what really shows Band Maid in a good light is that they could've easily cut the video to just the song and left the instrumental intro as a DVD/Bluray only thing, but they didnt
I love how they always do an extended intro into Play - and it's different every time. The one that was pulled is different than this one, and it's different than the one they played on their last online concert in July. That July one was my favorite - Misa's playing was just so ... the only word I have is *nasty* ... on that one.
No one would argue that the Who were not one of the biggest bands of all time and l saw Roger and Pete perform on October 9th last year in San Francisco just nine days after seeing Band-Maid on September 30th. Did you know that the Who NEVER had a number one song in their own country? They had two number two songs in England. The Who only had one number one song in the USA. Totally agree. However, the intro focuses a little on Miku's improvement, so I like that a little better. It's like picking your favorite of... someone else's... children. Yeah, that didn't quite work, but you get what I mean. ;-)
They pulled audio from area mics so they could get the crowd noise and reactions better. Other live recordings were pulled from the mixing board, which allows the engineers to get a better band sound, but at the expense of crowd participation noise.
@@armynurseboy Thank you for the heads up. I hope next time they do a big live album/dvd like this they just have some dedicated crowd mics so I, very selfishly, don't have to sacrifice getting Kanami's brilliance screaming through my ears. :-)

They do seem to pack enough great content into any one song for most other bands to make 2-3 songs! Just bursting with creativity!
