the part you changed is the lockout A/B solenoids. the "Shift A/B solenoids" are on the bottom of the transmission under a metal cover. There is also a linear solenoid just above the shift solenoids. Shift solenoid P/N is 28200-P4R-003. Lockout P/N is 28300-P24-J01. The linear solenoid is P/N 28250-P4R-315, also known as the "AT Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid".
How do you determine which ones need to be replaced. Mine hangs in 3rd gear and takes a while to shift into 4th gear. I also get a torque converter lock up circuit engine light when driving at steady hwy speed 70mph+. No CEL if im just putterin around town though and it seems to be running fine aside from the delay into 4th gear.
There are two actuators on the bottom front. One looks like similar to the one you removed, its under a metal cover. That is the shift solenoid The linear solenoid is directly above the metal cover. its held in with 4 bolts and looks like a tube with an electrical connector on it s end.
Yes there’s another solenoid on the front side at the bottom, iirc correct it’s a clutch solenoid, been a minute since I read up on it, that’s next when I get time to get back on it. Hopefully that one will fix the issue because I really don’t wanna swap the transmission
Good job, but this is not shift solenoids, these are lock-up solenoids a&b for torque converter
Thanks, always been called shift solenoids and when I bought the new one it was labeled shift solenoid 🤷♂️
Anyone know the location for the shift solenoid

I saw the other solenoid on the bottom front but haven’t seen any others on top by these even on the other trans I have

This is some fantastic info, thanks!
@Mr.Grim_USMC did you fixed the issue, I have the same issue no check engine
I am lost i need information. My crv doesnt go into 1st gear but all the other gears work can it be a solenoid?
To me it doesn’t sound like a solenoid but they are cheap so you could try it and see if it helps.
@@Torchred00_c5 okay thanks

Any updates on the work?
Not yet, haven’t had much free time to jump back on it and swap out the front solenoid
You need another guy hold the camera.
@@mikibihon8826 wish I had help like that lol, I used a small stand at the time I made this, I have a taller tripod now
