I love the hum- single with 1 volume knob.... I really don’t know anyone who uses a push-pull coil tap splitter in- phase outta-phase reverse wound polarity switch...thats all just marketing hype....great job on the guitar.....love it!!!!!
First of all great channel, SUBSCRIBED! :) 1) Charvel neck pocket 2-1/4” (57.15mm)., standard fender neck pocket: 2-3/16” (55.56mm) Was there upcharge for charvel neck pocket size to accommodate your pro mod neck? 2) Seafoam Green? In video appears almost Daphne Blue?
MJT sourced the body from Musikraft iirc :) no up charge for the pocket size. It’s hard to capture the true sea foam colour with certain cameras. Looks awesome in person :)
@mastertheguitar hey, what would you think if charvel brought the 80s model 1 back, with the pointy headstock 1 pickup and basic strat trem, as a budget offering for like 300-400 bucks ? It would get their name more out there for beginers ,plus a cool throwback and compete with the kramer baretta special.
@@fuzzymuppet1990 I think there is a definite market for that. Maybe Fender hold back because of the Jackson line providing the pointy headstock guitars. 🤷🏻♂
I have the same towel at home lol Now that might not work if these pots are likely to fail but it strikes me as something you could use for an effect kinda similar to a kill switch only it doesn't kill the tone just quickly switches between the two pickups. I'm still trying to figure out my next project which will be a tele, I just need to find a source for a good neck at a decent price
There's a little transition where the switch must be inbetween contacts so it does actually kill the signal but I wouldn't want to stress that mechanism 😂
What a great guitar!! I’ve been living my MJT/Musikraft super strat over the past year. I’m really happy with the body too. I also really dig that tone of the Helix LT. How do you have it amplified?
Most of the sound you're hearing is the DI from the Helix into my Audio h/w in the room though I have it running through an Alto TS210 FRFR speaker, works well.
Hey Mark, the Dimas upgrade looks great! One question...what color is that strat on the wall? Is that surf green & is it custom or a fender color? Thanks 🤘🏻
Very cool. Man I like you do love the Vharvel Jackson necks. I've been playing my 1990 Charvel lava crackle preditor with a hum in the bridge and slanted single coil in the neck. I think I'm going to change to EMGs though just because I already have a strat with 3 EMG SAs. It's a very cool guitar sir. Love it. J couldn't see what you were doing to the bridge before you installed the floyd? With the dremel tool? I'm wanting to build a guitar just like it but with a reverse headstock. I live hum single combos. I think it's perfect. I need to learn how to wire the push push pot like you did. That's too cool.. Thanks sir. Great video.. Regards from the heartland. Indiana. USA. Tim..
Tremendous build!! Great work! Your playing is superb. Also, thanks for the pickguard graphic. That was a nice touch to tell your settings!
Thanks! :)

You've never heard of Brian May?

@@mastertheguitar i got usa select so cal neck plan to make one like yours haha
This is awesome ! I wish Charvel would offer something like this 😎
Nice build, you made it look easy. Would love to try to build my own one day. Beautiful guitar and it sounds awesome. Rock on 🎶🎸🤘🏼👍🏼
Wow Mark. You're a true craftsman. Very impressive. You even worked on the floor - which is pretty tough!!!
Beautiful guitar!!!!! Great playing & tone!!
Awesome build my guy! Sorry to necro an old video!
Thank you! No need to apologise glad you enjoyed the video :)

look killer ~ cool guitar
Thanks man :)
Looks beautiful
Fun video! Where did you score that Charvel neck? Do they sell those?
From my San Dimas Pro Mod, I basically swapped bodies on an existing guitar.
Nice!
Tell me your not in a band or on tour in a solo career and I'd be very surprised, lol. Love what you did to your Charvel pronounced charvey.

Are the tuners ones with posts? Which ones did you buy cause one of my charvel pro mod locking tuners broke and they don’t sell them!

Yeah the Strat is Surf Green, also a MJT body, here's the video of the body change a few years ago ruclips.net/video/pYHz9dxQzxU/видео.html
@@mastertheguitar Thanks - yeah, that color caught my eye, I love it.
Wow ~ very Coooooool~

Cheers Tim! I hacked a little of the wood away at the Floyd route to give more space for the trem dives with the fatter brass block installed :)
@@mastertheguitar Aorry for all the types. Love this channel!
It doesn't make sense to take the neck off of the Charvel for this. You could have had two nice guitars. What did you do with the white body?
Sold it to help fund the new body :)
I like your accent
What ampdo you use?
Ok .lol.where you from? I m from LYON in France And i m Alain!! And you?
What model is that knob?
Check out the vid info, has a rundown of all parts etc.
Do you have psoriasis.
I do :)
Me too fuckin disease.
