    ABOUT THIS CHANNEL:
Welcome to My Mum Makes! I’ve started this channel as a creative outlet to share my sewing projects online. I’ve loved to sew since my Mum taught me as a little girl and I find it relaxing, productive and fun. I love the chance to make things for my kids, myself and our home and I want you to feel motivated to give sewing a try and get creative. I think creativity is good for us especially as Mums. We can get so stuck in our everyday repetition, but spending some me-time creating something is a great way to unwind, prioritise our needs and use our brains in a different way to the everyday. Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram @mymummakes.marie to see more of what I’m up to.
    GET TO KNOW US:
    * Where are you from? South Australia
    * What sewing machine do you use? Janome DC2150 - would definitely recommend Janome, can’t go wrong.

I love how you add details to every step, like how you thread the needle! Thank you. I am a brand new Nan (today) and have become an avid fan of your channel. I’ve already made your taggy toy, cot sheet and change table cover. Enjoying all of your videos, thanks from Canberra.

I'm glad to hear you like all the details. Sometimes it's hard to know how much to include without making the video so long. Wow sounds like you've made a lot of great baby projects already!! That's great to hear. Congrats on becoming a new Nan!!! How exciting for you and your family 💕

Thank you for sharing this! Always good to get a refresher on some of the things I've done in the past but don't remember how I did it! 😅😊 I love the fabrics they chose and how your letters came out! 😍
