I've said and been told it's hard to find a radio with the quality of transmit and receive for the price and that's true but I'll push it a bit further and say it's hard to find a "factory" out of the box radio with the quality of transmit and receive. Great radios. ✌✌
FINALLY.......... Made contact with the mower junkite today!!!! Just before noon This is 398 wisc bill you retiurned. Just got my galaxy re optimized by 50 year radio shop same tech since 1975 and now it drives my 250 hidrive mosfet rocket box beauttifully on low gets 180+ med to 220 havent tried high much cause these are good levels going into antron99
I found a brand new one still in the plastic with a "worn box" for a good deal. I had to get it. Knowing how pleased you've been with this radio for the past year. I just had to have one for myself.
I have been running my galaxy99v2 almost 10 years nothing more than sales set up broke down sent to the tech I known 50+ years opened his shop 1975 and when it came back the past 38 pep is now almost 50 and louder than it ever was it was missing some small circuits one tying the fine and coarse together and the other static suppression on receive it now competes for quality with the grant lt I have for back up my flat side is going bad shows swr climbing almost 2/1 time to lower and clean it up or just not use
Is that better then HR 2510? Which I’ve been working with since about 1990 and I use a white tornado 225 amp. Sorry I can’t program the HR 2510 on the computer.
Thanks for the contact 55, I'll be back on 31 in a few min, to try an old Realistic 465. 11 meter repeater has a live steam going in NY, so I'll get to hear how it sounds. 73's
Hey John, Your brother Joe says hi! He’s doing well. He’s being taken care of by a woman named Diane Scharber. Yeah, I know, but have you ever seen Theresa Caputo?! I pray you, Barbra and Boboshua are all well. 171 Dancing Lightning Central MN K0XI
Mine is not at all 40w or even close. Fm is 25w am 14w ssb 22w . I've had mine for 8 months . I can't receive on am which surprised me. Helen at Radioddity offer to replace it. Im beginning to think i should after seeing your update. I am a manly a ssb user. I dont have another radio yet to replace as a backup. I wonder if i do a full reboot or factory reset. Hmm, please, can anyone give ne any advice?
@MowerJunkie yes I've checked all that setup in the beginning of the issue. I have never got the wattage out put you have had. I've been really happy with this radio. It wasn't an issue until I got an am/fm radio for my son. That's when I found this issue.
Your just having to much fun talking about that radio.
have a great day

Seeing it in action here I had to snag one. It came today. Now to rig up an antenna and do the 2-3 jumper mod. This is going to be fun!
Very cool! Enjoy your new radio, 73's

Do all the weather channel bank frequencies have to be in 2 meter?
Nice radio.

Is the clarifier similar to delta tune on a traditional am cb?
Are you set to 500 on your clarifier ?

I see a lot of people moving the jumper inside the radio So Do I still need to do that or just use the program cable?
this radio has to have the internal mod done, in order to use it as a CB.

What better qt40 or qt60? 😊😊
They're both great radios, I suggest getting both!

Only if it had external freq counter port I would buy one or 2 lol
channel 12 27.555 usb time to go back on the computer i think
T1 has to do with the terminator 😆
I still like the 5555p better lol
I like the QT60 (5555 n2) more than this radio, But this one is a close 2nd. Thanks for watching, 73's

It has a frequency counter.
