The Porsche Carrera GTs engine was derived from an Endurance Racing Porsche engine for anyone that wants to argue that point.

If you bought it, you could soon have a company leasing it for track days/experience days. Lots of people would give you money. If you played it right. Maybe there are companies that help with that. I know there's one in Florida.

A real F1 engine is literally made with throwaway parts that you changed every race
This is Mercedes. They have to promote their overpriced cars so it is well worth lying about F1 engine. Alterations are typical for mass market - it is cheaper materials that last longer. I am sure it doesn't perform that well as F1 motor does.
