G&G are my grail shoes, love to go full bespoke but the wallet will not allow yet. I spend too much time on there website, I will get a pair eventually.
Gaziano & Girling vs Edward Green???! I suppose it all boils down to how well they fit your usual shoe size! Swings and roundabouts maybe!!!…. EG have the traditional lasts and looks! The shop at G&G seems more organised particularly for more demanding customers!
@@theshoesnob_official cheers mate..your shoes are fantabulous. Hugo jacomet and Sonia introduced me to your brand but before that I saw your boots with buttons on I said to myself this Cobbler is an alien. Put this way way if you have got a date wear one of J fitzpatrick boots on..they are not boring shoes. Keep on on inspiring Sir🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hey Pat, thank you for the comment. No plans at the moment for Brick & Mortar. I am sure they would have one if the opportunity presented itself, but think that most shoemakers are still in recovery mode from the last 18 months. Will ask Norman if he is up for it :-)
Hello Justin, I'm looking to get a great pair of shoes for my dad. GG currently have a discount on their classic range. Would you recommend them over a pair of Meccariello?
Gorgeous are what those unique pioneered foot pieces are!!!! Said the best when you mentioned if they didn’t invent a certain intricacy, they sure perfected it and did set the bar of excellence for many shoemakers in this day, although from patina to leather even though all these Chinese and Japanese foot makers are upcoming, the quality of GG is UNPARALLELED🤝 Here’s the real question……………….. Do you feel Bemer and Bonafe are at that level of excellence…..??????
Loves me some G&G especially when reviewed by an expert. Thanks for another great video. A few questions: *Are the split toe monks made in “Hunting Suede”? *Do you happen to know who supplies G&G’s suede? *Any plans for a quick video comparing the G&G stock service line vs. their new Optima line? Take good care and thanks again!
Glad that you enjoyed it! Not sure if it is Hunting suede. Also not sure who supplies the suede. Thought Charles Stead but could be wrong. No comparisom videos, just the two separate ones that both show the differences but in their own videos. Sorry

Keep that positivity and soon you will have a pair!
Always be optimistic..you will get them and more.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Gaziano & Girling are my Holy Grail Shoes, great review and BTW I'm a huge brown suede LOVER!!!
Thanks David! One day you will have a pair!

G&G is my favorite brand so....my pick.
Sir, thanks for the review. I aspire to purchase a pair of G&G whole cuts. Seeing your review has only cemented my aspiration.
My pleasure. Happy to help! Enjoy them
hope to see J. Fitzpatrick reviewing A. Meccariello and S. Bemer shoes some day
Hopefully soon
😁😁😁 I made the same request a couple of weeks ago..great mind thinks alike.
The monk strap suede is absolutely divine. I'm in love 😁 they are dope...justin are you still making your own brand? Great video as usual. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Yes, the monkstraps at the business. And yes, of course, my brand is alive and growing ;-). www.jfitzpatrickfootwear.com

@@haroldharryhugh367 thank you for the kind words Harold, I do appreciate them! 🙏
Great, thorough review. Do you know if they have any plans of expanding in US (brick and mortar)? Also, can you review Norman Vilalta? Thanks!!

I am partial to G&G but I am not familiar with Meccariello in person or the prices so hard for me to really recommend honestly.
@@theshoesnob_official You just got a new idea for the next reviews then 😉
Thanks for answering!
@@PierreColombo900 ha! Only if he decides to send me a pair ;-)

Hey Zohair thanks for sharing, as always. Bemer can get there for sure. Bonafe, while good, I do not see as the same though.
Can't stop watching your shoe snob videos Justin. You're good 👍 at what you do ( mens foot wear ).
Thank you Antonio 🙏
You unknowingly switched and put the wrong trees in the shoes. That's why they don't seem to be lasted.
Ha! Didnt even realize but now makes sense. ;-) thanks for letting me know
I also found EG snugger than CJ. Went 1/2 size up.
Thanks for sharing
Yes i have to size up on 202 last to 8 UK but 82 and 72 I’m my standard 7.5 UK.
Justin what is the color of leather on Gable
Sorry just realized I missed this comment. So sorry. I believe it was the reverse rioja patina. I forget the exact name.
Can you do a review on Montand or Montand 2?
Only if you can send me a fresh pair
