Im a dude 28, earn $115k, no debt and over $100k saved up, single. I doubt id have kids with the way the world and economy is going. But lets speak closer to home, ive got a very close cousin and shes had 3 kids and shes only 26! First one at 21. They both work and earn probably 85k combined. They are drowning in finaces. His own mom told me she only sees her son happy when the kids arent there.... its not a life. They struggle, kids struggle, and they never found themselves and got to really enjoy each other. We expect a divorce soon enough and 3 heart broken kids. Meanwhile I'm living my life, have 3 vacations planned next year and building a STRONG foundation so if i ever want a kid or adopt itll be in the healthiest way possible.

I would prefer to be broke all by myself, why would I want to bring a kid into this world to suffer with me? I hate when parents boost about how they struggled with their kid. Even if I liked kids, I wouldn't ruin my body with pregnancy.

I used to want children from my 20s to my mid 30s. If I had the opportunity, the window for me would have been between 33 and 36 years of age. With everything going on in the world and society in general, I don't wanna bring a child into this world because it is dangerous. I'm about to be 40 years old and with the new research about men's fertility, I worry about the quality of my sperm which could cause a woman to have a risky pregnancy which may result in miscarriage or the child having abnormalities.

More people need to exercise more thought when having children. I was once told "babies are small so they don't take up much space or effort. They eat what we eat and sleep where we sleep..." yes, it was my ex who told me initially that he wanted to wait to have children and get some finances moving and then would try to bring up having children periodically to try and convince me... he also did not realise that this dishonesty was a major red flag for me and i dont tokerate lying in any form. He wanted to get me pregnant to have his baby for whatever the f reasons. When i would humour his illogical and dishonest thought process and ask further questions, he would try to give quick, nice sounding answers to placate me instead of exercising that he had made any provisions for a child or a family.
Meanwhile, when i asked him to plan a date, he told me he did not know enough abiut this country to organise something like that.... this man had migrated from another continent, gotten a house to rent, found employment and had a network of friends around him. His dad also lived relatively close too... oh abd baring in mind the numerous times we'd already been on dates and he had meft me to make all the plans, including always asking questions to him thinking we were making them together. Each question he would use as a prompt to do the next thing.
I also didn't "accidentally" get pregnant by this point so he realised he had to try to convince me, lol. It was in that relationship that i acknowledged i didn't want to have children at all. Quite frankly, i also am not persuing a relationship anymore either.

I would never bring kids into the world with an average income. I make just enough for me and bills. I don’t think it’s likely that I’ll marry a high earning man so I don’t even consider that I would have at least 100k for the household…that is if I get married and stay married. I don’t even trust that would happen with divorce rates increasing. And the hostility between men and women right now at an all time high. There is way more uncertainty than I’m comfortable with that kids would bring. My future kids don’t deserve that so it’s not something I’m willing to risk.

As a lil kid growing up i struggled alot with school, making friends n i was bullied. Im 26 im not mentally or emotionally strong, i have low self-esteem, i have anxiety, n depression. I still live at home with my parents and I can hardly take care of myself. I work bcuz i have too not bcuz i want too. If i bring a kid into all tht i will be more unhappy than i already am. Thts not fair to the kid nor anybody else. The world today is falling apart and its getting worse. I cld never give a child the love n care it needs. Im not worthy of kids. dnt get me wrong they cute but they've never been for me, plus i dnt think the world needs another me running around. Trying to picture myself as a mom makes me cringe. Motherhood has never been appealing to me. Its too much time n energy/work, and i dnt wana put myself in tht position. Thts why i got sterilized at 25. There's already 8 billion people in the word thts 8 billion too many. Im childfree by choice bcuz i wanted too be selfish in a choice for me for once. Ive never been confident in any of choices ive made before but the childfree choice i knew for a fact was the right choice for me.

I'm already a mom, his name is Taco. My sweet orange kitty that acts like a 2 yr old child. All the games recommend by google play are helping women, because their husband/boyfriend, cheated on them, runs away when they have kids, or throw the wife, and kids out in the streets. Most of them show mom, kids trying to survive outside in winter. A lot of games show the men trying to kill them by throwing them off cliffs, ships, or out a window. If games are that way, it clearly shows men are not to trusted, and horrible. Pretty accurate

The old fashioned view of 'women do domestic work and child raising, men are the breadwinners' actually DOES work.
It works if men earn enough to support the family. (Nowadays, thats A LOT)
It works if the women can have a good female support system.
It works if the women know they're safe and provided for.
It works if the women do the cleaning cooking and childcare.
It works if the children go to school.
It works if the women do not need to prioritise their job.

In by which the child will have a poor qualiy of childhood life because they can't be played with and interracted with by a parent who has the energy to do so. And will likely be put into the demanding position to physically care for you at their very young age. And then they will be guaranteed to lose their parent in their youth. However, do you d most of the housework, cooking, cleaning, doctor appts, do you bake for and do school evemts, do you do the bulk of driving to docor/ dental appts, sporting events, do you do the bulk of homework duty, supervising play dates? If you don't do the BULK of ALL of thst, maybe you are selfish too. Loving your child and being willing to die for them is the appropriate thing to feel for your son. Loving children is easy. Willingness to die for them will more than likely never be needed. Women who don't want kids are selfish because YOU ENJOY YOUR SON SO MUCH???. Happy for you, overjoyed for you.
