Staining with dyes and finishing with epoxy clearcoat

In this video I wrestle with applying multiple layers of angelus leather dyes to a flame maple guitar top, and seal with acrylic and epoxy.

I did an epoxy job over wood stain onces, without sanding sealer, the effect was great however the stain dribbled all over the plastic binding so that wasn't so good :-)

Just take a brush and paint it black next time.
