As a person who was a former homosexual and was steeped in sexual immorality now saved by the blood of Christ, when preachers don’t talk about those sins and just flat out avoid it gets me upset. It’s basically just hindering salvation for people that need to hear the truth and not being in an echo-chamber of lies… Particularly “mainstream Christianity” and “Progressive Christianity”. Unbelievable…

The issue is that those snake oil salesmen are only twisting it. They are essentially show man trying to get people to sign up with their church. Their presentations are designed to get people doing this... Gospel isn't present. Holy Spirit isn't present neither. At best you will get some folks there that realize that they need salvation, but that showmanship can't give you that.

Friend, I have a problem. The Bible is large, but there is nothing much about Jesus dealing with homosexuals. It is barely mentioned.
What is mentioned is love of neighbor, not judging those outside the church. Being kind to our enemies...
And a warning from Jesus that some people who think they are good, it will be worse for them than for Sodom and Gomorrah. Let me tell you ,in church, REAL pastors will rarely deal with the topic of homosexuality, or sexual sin.
There is a reason for this. Many reasons, one is that Jesus could have spent his life harassing homosexuals, Jesus could have preached extensively on the topic. But he never did. In all his years and teachings, he barely even mentioned anything about it.
Real pastors, especially in church during Service... Are very limited and confined. They are not really allowed to speculate. They stick to the Book very closely. They should be following a lectionary. The focus is on the word rightly handled and preached.
So there is no reason to preach about it or focus on the topic. I don't hear preachers preaching about a lot of other things too. It's selfish of you to single out one sin and want to exalt it and make it the focus of divine service.

Notice that Paul the apostle does not address sexual sin alone but also includes greed, etc, in the list. Also he, elsewhere, addresses "laziness" or the "unwillingness to work" as something withwhich we as Christians should not be associated. If a man WILL NOT work, he should not eat. Sin, when discovered, should be disciplined by the church .... but in the hope that they will return to the LOrd in repentance. If they refuse to submit to church discipline and continue in their sin (whatever sin that may be) then they should be "treated as pagans", or "handed over to Satan" that they may "learn not to blaspheme". THe ultimate goal is restoration .... the rest we leave in God's hands.

I remember a survey done in the ‘90s that asked college kids what they thought “sexually immoral” meant and answers ranged from “there is no such thing as immorality” to “it’s only immoral if I have sex with someone other than my boyfriend.” “Sexual immorality” is simply too vague of a term and is wide open to individual interpretation.

For example, in 1 Corinthians, Paul doesn’t just say, “Stop sinning.” He says, “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit?” (1 Cor. 6:19). This isn’t ignoring sin-it’s addressing it in a way that leads to real heart transformation by affirming who we are in Christ.
Sometimes, correction comes through warnings, but it can also come through affirmation. Both approaches are biblical, but many people struggle to understand that correction doesn’t always need to be harsh or fear-based. Affirmative correction, like reminding someone of their identity in Christ, is often more powerful because it reaches deeper than just addressing surface behaviors.
Paul’s method shows that we don’t just fight sin by focusing on what we shouldn’t do but by remembering who we are.
If you are going to be a teacher of the word at least respect the nuance of scripture and have a good understanding of it

Actually, I'm gonna have to agree with Prince on this one. The judgement of God that is being talked about here is judgement in this life, not salvation. God will destroy them is referring to their physical bodies, not their salvation. Galatians 5:19-21 is a list of possible sins that send UNBELIEVERS to hell, not believers. Do you still experience envy as a believer? Are you still capable of outbursts of wrath? Have you abandoned all selfish ambitions as a believer? Have you ceased all covetousness as a believer? NO, Obviously NOT. All of us as believers are continuously guilty of the sins listed. These verses are just giving examples of sins that send unbelievers to hell; that's it. What you're doing here is preaching a false gospel of works based salvation. STOP! STOP! STOP! A false gospel won't save anyone. We are saved 100% (not 99%) by BELIEF in Jesus Christ; his death, burial, and resurrection as having paid the FULL price for ALL of our sins (past, present, and future). PERIOD, END OF STORY. Heaven is FULL of sexually immoral people....absolutely full. Heaven is full of fornicators, and adulterers, and thieves, and murderers etc.... Again, a false gospel can not and will not save anyone. A person needs to believe the correct gospel to go to heaven. Believing in any form of a works based salvation is gonna send you straight to hell. You're no longer fully trusting in Christ's finished work to get you to heaven, you're trusting in your own; or at least partially trusting in your own. Any version of that is gonna send you to hell. The consequences for sins we commit in this life are real and can be severe (including death), but it is COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT to our salvation. Don't confuse the two, and lead people to hell by doing so. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, and does not live a sexually immoral life, should not perish, but have everlasting life. Is that what the verse says??? I don't think so. Make sure you get this one right. It's that IMPORTANT!

But when they get to heaven they will be standing with the fella from 1cor5.

There are a lot of things God can take from you to put an end to your sinfulness without damning a part of His body and bride to hell. Acts of Sin will not deafen the act of God sacrificing His Son on the cross. How weak is that cross in your mind? How weak is your God to have sin overpower His grace and snatch a blood bought, born again child of God out of His hands. There are consequences for a believer's sinful actions, some here and some at the judgment seat of Christ, just like there are rewords. No Christ denier will make it to heaven, no matter how good they are, and no born again child of God will burn in hell. Your christ is weak and his cross ineffective. What he says was that in Corinthians it says that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and if we defile the temple of God, God will destroy us. This doesn’t mean you go to hell. He never said you go to hell. What he said was God will work on the heart of the believer or bring discipline to the believer in order to get them back in right relationship with God and following God in obedience. He never said you lose your salvation. Paul said in Ephesians that we were once alianated from God and by nature children of wrath when we once walked according to the sinful lusts and passions of the flesh according to the spirit that now works in the sons of disobedience but we were washed, sanctified and now being made alive with Christ we now ought to walk as He walked. In verse 7 we are told that He has done all this just to show the exceeding riches of His grace and kindness toward us in the ages to come. Not to make us good Christians. As Leonard Ravenhill once said, Jesus did not die on that cross to make bad men good, but to make dead men live.

As Paul states, we say God forbid we do that. " using God's grace as an excuse to continue to live in darkness" is a poor argument and an insult to the saving power of Jesus by the blood. A true believer HATES the sin. But we can never fully escape it while in this body of flesh where the nature of sin dwells. We EMBRACE the blood of Christ that dwells WITHIN us making us HOLY. @kimwestwood8840 Jesus said to the crowd who wanted to stone the woman that was caught in the very act of adultery. Jesus said that the one who was without sin could cast the first stone, no one did but Jesus could have cast the stone and killed her if he wanted to, just as he has killed even his own people in the past many times for breaking his commandments. Jesus graciously forgave her and sent her off saying go and sin no more. Do you think that after that incidence that she took his grace of forgiveness for granted and went on to do it again or did she truly repent from that life of sin. Let me remind you from scripture what I mentioned in the comments concerning the excuses that people use in saying that we are not under the law but under grace, the apostle Paul said (shall we) (continue sining) so that grace may abound, (God forbid) we keep the law. As Jesus had said that those who love him will keep his commandments Let me show an example from scripture what Paul was talking about. In the book of acts God killed Ananias and sapphira for lieing to the Holy Spirit, it is written you shall not temp the Lord your God. They took God's grace for granted and paid for it with their lives. Let us never forget that we are saved by grace through faith, but as James has pointed out, show me your faith without works and I will show you my faith by my works, people say that they believe in God that's good even the demons believe and tremble, but are the demons also saved because they believe. Jesus died for our sins, he didn't die to excuse us from our sins. Amen, love you and God bless you brother and all your family's.

@@evaristopacheco4738 One: Salvation is for those who repent, people are not demons. Refresh your memory on the gift of salvation in John 3 , FOUR times Jesus tells us how to enter heaven. Repent means to have a change of mind.
The bible verse about the woman caught in adultery is an added text, not in the original Greek manuscript.
Secondly we are not saved BY keeping the commandments, we have a new heart with new desires, made blameless by the blood of Jesus. So we strive to live rightly before God. ALL our sins, past, present and future sins are removed from us by the perfect and sufficient blood of Jesus.
If a saint , a child of God , gets off track, God is perfectly able to chastise in love .
James 2 is not the gospel, nowhere in the book does he teach the gospel. This book was written to edify believers. He echoed exactly what Jesus teaches, let your light shine before all men glorifying your Father in heaven with your good works.
If you read 1 John 3:8-9 it explains exactly what happens the moment the Son of Man is manifest in our hearts when we place our faith and trust in Him. Spiritually we enter eternal life , we are not considered sinners anymore. That is the good news . God bless

The teaching that we need to keep a certain level of holiness in order to be approved by God is wicked, because it is a trusting on our own filthy righteousness. God's standard remains perfection.
We can only rely on the imputed righteousness of Christ.

Hell is the English term for the grave. Only the righteous live forever because we have already been resurrected from death to new life. (Miracle new birth). The wicked perish (eternal death) after the judgement.
The righteous have already been found worthy of eternal life. Thats why we don't stand in the judgement with the congregation of the wicked. After the judgement of the wicked, they are destroyed and wiped from the memory of all who knew them as well as from the Fathers mind. Pretty harsh. Maybe you don't look at porn but do you ever have immoral thoughts or lustfully look at people?

Because I'm pretty sure no where in the bible does it say to go tell the whole world how wrong you think they are. And is your motive out of love or ego, pride? People don't care how much you know untill they know how much you care. Knowledge puffs up, love builds up, and that is biblical. And they will come to me and say "God I cast out demons, I prophesies, ect" and he will say I do not know you! Your so busy trying to prove others wrong that your forgetting to love. There are believers who will enter into the kingdom without inheriting the Earth as the obedient children of God will. They didn't live a good life, and their works will be deemed evil and worthy of fire, to be devoured in those flames of judgement, but they'll be "saved as through fire" like Paul teaches...

Paul doesnt Warned them. Because the sins of belivers are no more in the eyes of god.. as far as east to the west. The onley ( sinn) that cant be forgiven, and doesnt get you saved and eternal life. Is rejecting christ ( the gospel of the good news. Ephesians 2 8-9)

It's true that JP deliberately leaves out some parts of scriptures when preaching. And sometimes he doesn't even mention some scriptures which seem to contradict his teachings.
That angers me allot sometimes; but one thing is clear about Joseph Prince, he is led by the Spirit of God. His ministry has a lot of testimonies of people who are liberated from all kinds of sins and honestly, that can only be God.
I also find it hard to believe his teachings sometimes, but when I see the kind of results that he produces, I just humble myself and give glory to God ❤

Its not what they say, its what they dont say that sucks people in. Have you heard of contrary testimonies? Of course not. There are people who testified to the harm done to them by following his Holy Com teachings. Prince himself has never said whenever he falls sick, he would avoid all medical advice and medications, and just adhere to his own Holy Com teachings until he is healed. He should walk the walk not just talk the talk. For he says the HC is more powerful than any medicine or medical procedure.
Did not Jesus say I never knew you to those who said to Him that they do signs and wonders and in His name they cast out demons? All who talk of God need not be from God.
By the way, I assume you must have verified all those faceless testimonies you heard and thats how you believe them 100%

He isn’t wrong.. Paul never taught hell. The hell teaching is not the gospel. Jesus talked about Sheol and hades before the cross only..
Jesus paid the price for all humanity and all will bow and confess that He is lord.
I don’t think bashing other children of God for click bait is very godly..
    Romans 5:18
Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.

Biblical, the "sexually immoral" refers to social contracts and politics of man. The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life allude to the "body of Sin"(national body), which is the government. Go back to the beginning, in the garden, you find the "three lusts". That is a picture of the sin of all governments or nations. Hence, the son shall strike the HEAD of the serpent
You have been poison by Christianity to wrongfully accept its condemnation of your humanity. Your lust is normal and healthy, but like anything in life, it has to be managed. Your lust is not Sinful. Sin is committed at the governmental by religion and politics. Christianity = Sin, the irony.

What never ceases to amaze me, and I get this all the time, is that "free grace proponents" can say a moment of belief followed by a lifetime of wickedness doesn't cancel out that the person "believed" and is now guaranteed eternal life, but when I say that my faith is manifested in works because I love Christ and his commandments that I'm on my way to hell. Free grace theology is ridiculous, if for no other reason, than this fact alone. Free grace/once saved always saved is truly a rebellious spirit of "you can't judge me!" Thank you for posting, brother.

You can thank Calvinism for this once saved, always saved garbage. Faith and works are not adversaries but allies in the life of a believer. Faith is the root, and works are the fruits that testify to the vitality of the faith. True faith is accompanied by corresponding actions, reflecting love, compassion, and obedience. James emphasizes that our works “complete” our faith and keep it alive.

@@Dive-Deeper I totally agree. People accuse me of "works-based salvation" but I'm quick to point out that I have "faith-based works". Then, in typical fashion, they tell me I'm on my way to hell. Calvinism is a cancer on so many levels. Thank you, brother.

well he has a point though..paul as i see it does tell the believers in corinth that they do not need to keep living the same lifestyle they had been since they were saved cause they have been delivered from that darkness......but he is right in that they can not go to hell if they are saved for they can not lose their salvation.....

Preach the Gospel to the lost instead of trying to dissect the preaching of other pastors as though you know more. Does it edify? I doubt. In fact t creates division and confusion. Does it boost your own ego when you do that? You think you have godly intentions. Really? Anyway I believe you will continue to do whatever you are doing thinking you know better.
