Pete is the best part of SNL and you can't convince me otherwise.
As a lesbian with trauma, Kate McKinnon and Pete are tied because I’ve had similar mental health issues to Pete, and he very much reminds me of my brother. Both of those are reasons why he’s my comfort comedian to watch. The reason why Kate is tied with Pete is because of like three reasons: 1)✨I’m gay and also have mommy issues✨(It’s also really really nice to have lgbtq+ media representation). 2) she’s really open about her social anxiety and other mental health struggles which is also why I love Pete so much (I relate to both of them). 3) her personality and humor never fail to make me smile, and it’s always been nice to have something to help me feel better during rough times. Anyway, I’m over sharing. I agree with you, I and absolutely adore Pete and all that he’s done :)
