You can't study at the age of 25-30 with the intention of cracking this unpredictable exam. Even if you do till last you will either be depressed for life or u will have no better career options left at 31-32.corporate life is closed and also very difficult to get in and you have compete with freshers. I had a dream to do this but because of wrong decisions wrong people taking it easy my mental peace is dead and i can't even think of being an ias anymore. I just don't feel like studying and feel like an old person having no income. Your productivity will be zero. It is better to earn work hard and enjoy somewhere u know u ll get returns. Like am an engineer got back to corporate that with some help although it is embarrassing that being a bright student i have to suffer because of this exam. I should have started before that too with right guidance because even nowadays mentorship is useless they ll tell everything to study. Someone who has cracked this exam knows about it 100% will be the best one to help but, you need to be lucky to get those in your journey. Otherwise it's an unpredictable and weird exam.
