    According to Lootcrate, both of these crates are replacements for the first two late Firefly Cargo Crates. In other words, you're not getting a July or September Firefly Crate. It's bait and switch from LC.

    Wow, you got easily at least twice as much as I did in either of my boxes.
    Also, according to my emails, these are replacement boxes, not “hang in there” boxes.

      Yeah, didnt get nearly as much as this in my replacement boxes. Did they send him more because he posts these videos, hoping for some good publicity? I've been a subscriber since the first crate and am seriously mad about how we are being treated. They even blocked me on Instagram for complaining.

    You got an awesome crate. Mine was just a normal sized box and didn't come with half of what you received. Only cool thing I received was an old man Logan metal die cast.

      That's too bad, but that's also why I cancelled my normal Crate subscription a while back.

    Dang your lucky you got 2 boxes, I only got one. I wish I had received past Cargo merch but the thought was nice and I got an Alien figure too. Take care and thay did say we should know soon about new Cargo Crates at the end of January (I will believe that when I see it). 😃

    BTW, the Yume glass isn't from any Anime, it is the mascot for the Anime Crate.
    I finally decided to open mine instead of sending it back. Partially because I had nice big boxes and they were very full. Video coming.

    I just got mine, looks like they just grabbed a bunch of random stuff that was on clearance at loot vault and decided it would be a good PR move to quell the masses since the original agreement is for 4 boxes a year and they haven't met that standard..... What a crock. I still only got 3 boxes 2 loot crate and one today for dec of last year. I think they lost track of how many they are shipping to their customers and when. NOT happy, but what can I do I paid in advance till spring. Oh and they try that retail value angle stating it's worth $100+ good luck on that... it's only worth what someone will pay and obviously at the $31.96 valuation they have the items listed for on Loot Vault isn't working. That's right, I looked them up... not ever going to recommend them again.

      I just realized I have been charged every 2 months but due to the delays & not reciving my Firefly crate every 2 months, they have a lot of my money & I have nothing to show for it. I am assuming others are in the same position & they are hoping no once notices. I am going to count my payments & the amount of crates & have recived & contact them.
      I dont want a pile of cheap crap from franchises I dont care about. This is just adding insult to injury!

      I just received my second apology box and it is mostly duplicates of the same crap they can't move. I even received an email that they are having a discount sale on loot vault... Now the calculated cost of the crap they have sent has been reduced, with the added box and most of the items shipped being discounted to between $2.99 and $5.99. So, I'm looking at approx $40 - $45 worth of crap I never asked for. Sorry, we are having a problem building the car you ordered, but here are a couple of items to apologize until we can finish..... a Ms. Kitty pair of skates and a tricycle for the children you don't have. Freakin really???

      @@NotAnotherKuromi You are probably going to be pissed I know I was.. So.... I just got done chatting with one of the reps at lootcrate... THESE ARE REPLACEMENT CRATES FOR THE ONES THEY OWE FOR LAST YEAR! You have to contact them if you want to return them and ask for a return shipping label to be emailed or you will also be out the shipping cost to return the boxes they sent you. I'm trying to see if they will extend the plan for free until all the crates that were paid for are shipped.. I paid for 6 crates in advance and only received 2 crates.

    I got the same, only kept the Evil Dead, Edward Scissorhands, beanie & westworld pin. tried to build the bumbleebee but was impossible.
    didn't like the Alien at all despite being such a fan on the film
    cancelled my annual subscription asap, plus got my money back for that awful tiny box. Still pissed I will never get a full set of q-bits
    what is really funny is at the end of august, they announced there was news on the cargo crate, then they went bankrupt

    So has anyone gotten a newer box? Is the line dead without them completing the orders? I hated 2/3 of my apology box content, so I cancelled and haven't looked back, but figured I'd ask in here to see if anyone has gotten a new one.

      I haven't received a newer box yet, but recently got an e-mail apologizing (yeah, I know) for the delay and promising another one will ship 'soon'.

      If you remember to post when you do on here, I'd love to see it. I wanted to stay subbed, but they kept taking money and then they gave us 2 booty boxes as "apology" crates. Like you I got 2 evil deads and some other assorted random stuff. It would have been better if we'd gotten to pick some of the items, or had advanced notice that they were going to do that to us... so sad.

    So we get crap from series we didn’t subscribe for instead of firefly stuff? Or is this just an apology and we still get an actual firefly crate for the ones they’ve missed?

      It's my understanding that we'll (eventually) get the next in the series of Firefly crates. But no telling when that'll happen.

      @@jahellen We are getting similar long delays on the Star Trek crates. We got a couple of free items in apology for the first crate being late, but nothing for the subsequently delayed crates. We should have had 6 crates by now, but they have only just shipped the third one.

      @@martyuk60 Star Trek has just been cancelled, which is a bummer and still waiting on the free gift for buying 1 year ... they said emailing us soon about that.

    I got similar boxes from them, different beanies but two of the same, two evil dead figures, same stickers and other bs. I'm pretty annoyed about it.

    So is it confirmed that these are apology “hang in there” gifts or are they subbing this out for a Firefly crate? The wording on the note made it sound like it’s a substitute and not a gift (mine was full of old leftover crap as well - but I only got 1 box). I’ve written customer service asking but no reply yet...

      I got a hold of a real person through their chat thing (which I found when I went to cancel a different crate). This is a replacement - not a sorry/thank you. They person apologized and said she had no explanation for why this decision was made, and that if I was unhappy I could request a refund (which I did). However, from what I understand they’re notorious for saying that and not actually doing it (so I took screen shots of everything). Go check the Better Business Bureau and what they have to say about LC. They’re also currently being sued by Funko. Loot Crate has fallen so, so far.

      @@jahellen No the note even says they are replacement and I contacted support, they are replacement, not apology crates. so I cancelled my sub, I had the Trek crate too which is mega late and now cancelled by them.
