I never imagined I'd watch someone cutting the exact same patterns that I have been working on lately! I got the book a month or so ago, love the modern looking patterns in it. Oh, I used a blow torch on the Green Man and Tree of Life, then gave them a few coats of danish oil, they came out great. I've hung my Tree of Life in my garden, and the Green man has gone to a pub. Look forward to see what you cut next from the book, wonder if we'll choose the same thing? Have a great week

The blow torch finish sounds interesting; I might have to give that a try in the future.

Might have been easier to pour some stain in a container and dunked the piece into it then hung to dry
