      Thank you! I try to find music that compliments the video rather than distract from it, and usually manage to do a decent job at that.

    Very nice work. can you save it at the angle you want?

    • @jahellen
      @jahellen  5 лет назад

      I'm not sure what you're asking. But you can go with a steeper or shallower angle that what the formula calls for, but you'd have to be careful to not sand through the sides of the bowl when smoothing it out.

      @@jahellen I mean, have the angle be made in the same measure as the distance between the rings.

  • @islamn799

    Thanks.how much degree angle you set up your scroll saw?

    • @jahellen
      @jahellen  6 лет назад +2

      That's a function of the width of the rings versus the thickness of the work piece.
      Follow these steps: 1) get the final thickness for the bowl blank, 2) determine how wide you want your rings, 3) divide the ring width by the blank thickness, 4) use an inverse tangent (or arc tan) calculator to get the angle to set your table (round up to the next whole or half degree). You can find a calculator here: www.mathwarehouse.com/trigonometry-calculators/inverse-tangent-calculator-online.php
      Thanks for watching!

    What book were you referencing for thickness and angles?

    • @jahellen

      I'm using "Wooden Bowls from the Scroll Saw" by Carole Rothman.

    Tolles Projekt , nur zu schneller Ablauf . Manche Szenen sollte man auch einmal in Echtzeit laufen lassen. Es schaut sich an wie ein schlechter Trickfilm. Musik war super. 👍👍👍
