I love Triumph. Another great Canadian power trio in the mold of Rush.50's sci-fi movies are the best! _The Day the Earth Stood Still_ is one of my favourites. Gort never had to ask for Robot Armor.
As always - another kewl thrift store haul! I'm not sure what date it is, but today I found an ancient audio cassette tape "maybe" from the late 70s - HOPEFULLY its one of those that I made jokes on and did crappy impressions for laughs to send to my older brother. Gotta find my cassette player to know for sure.
We get photos of STRANGERS all the time at the thrift store where I work... I always want to DO something with them - involving mod podge and jewellery.... haha! And OMG on your haul on music this month. FLASHBACK.
Nice haul for June! Thank you for showing Dynamite magazine! I used to get those from Troll Book club (remember that?) back in elementary and middle school in the 80s. I was just thinking about that yesterday and could not remember what the magazine was titled. Now I know! I really need to start going to thrift stores.
I wish I still had one of those Troll book club ads! I am now buying a lot of the books I saw in those ads that I had no money to get back then. I have a couple of old issues of Dynamite. They are hard to find, so even one with Maggie cut off the cover is golden to me!
My Mother was a teacher for 35 years, and had tons of those old order forms, stickers, and everything else you could imagine. Sadly, it was all given away or thrown away some years ago. I could kick myself for not going through it all and saving some of it. Could have sent you some of the stuff too!
I'd love to buy some jazz cds from you! Thrift stores around here don't have anything to offer. I get so jealous watching your awesome finds! Super entertaining :)
cool crazy bone figure, i actually am an admin for the crazy bones wikia. First Men in the Moon movie is one of my favorites, love the monsters in it & stop motion.
Just found out about your channel through a UK podcast called the cheap show. You collect some wierd stuff but it's all great. Wish stores over here sold stuff like that. The closest thing I've found that could rival your impressive hoard was an aviation magazine dated May 1917.
That I’m 4 Beatles pin is from 1964 one of my mom’s friends (who’s 74 years old) saw The Beatles live in Toronto on September 7th 1964 she has the same pin, a tour program and her ticket from the concert
I want to do a video on how to collect things so that they take up less room, but I haven't had time yet. Right now I just have this room tour that I did a couple years ago: ruclips.net/video/o2YTgXpd9kU/видео.html
Excellent score my friend, good treasure indeed. The Charleston magnet @1:52 looks a bit like Aunt Jemima. If you Google 'Aunt Jemima collectibles', under the images tab you'll see a similar likeness dressed the same and the sporting the same pose. It might even date back a few years.
I found Great Space Coaster on CED, but my player is broken. Plus I got a VHS that had a date and time on it of Great Balls of Fire. Not sure why that was on it because it otherwise looked normal. PS I have my orig. Luke fig with a very wobbly head.
Good Will has gotten too pricey anymore. I pretty much quit going there. I got some great deals on Face book Marketplace. Two RC planes. One was brand new, never flown( the guy threw it in for free) . The other one is an Alaskan water plane that was flown twice, then detailed and hung up for display only. I paid $25 less than retail, but got lots of extra parts free. You always find some cool collectors stuff. I bought a snow blower and ended up with another one and a lawn mower ,sold the mower in a half hour and doubled my money( thats how I paid for the RC planes). Anyways. You made out like a bandit on that Original Luke Skywalker. People have no idea what those are worth.
Weird Paul I sold one a year ago before I even got it out of the driveway from where I bought it. A lady I know had been looking for a trim mower for using after using her riding mower. She told me if I found one to call her. So while I was waiting for my wife, I called her and sold it before I even left the ladys driveway that had sold it to me. It was all good though. I gave her a deal because I tune up all her equipment every year.Including that mower.lol.
The little redhead figure with the marks on its face at 10:41 is Amy Pond from doctor who with the marks on her face. Paul how do you catalog all of your stuff and remember what you don't have at the thrift store. Looks like some good scores last month. Really enjoy your videos.
Wow that's crazy! Thanks for the ID! It doesn't seem to be a Lego, I wonder what company made it. I have some things cataloged in my phone. All my records, cassettes, DVDs, most of my videogames. Lots of my books, too. CDs is the one thing I have to guess on. I think once or twice I bought one I already had. I need to make a list but there's never any time. I have a pretty good memory of stuff that I've bought in the last few years. Thanks for watching!
Paul I figured out that that Amy Pond figure is part of a set from the BBC called character builders. Thanks for the answer to my question. characterbuilding.wikia.com/wiki/Amy_Pond_(Series_3)
I think I saw that Life Magazine with Max headroom at the Bethel Park library. Did it also feature Mike Tyson, and the oldest living man who died in Japan that year? Don't record over that answering machine tape. It could be useful. ~Buzz Killer, Talking Zombie From Western Pennsylvania
I've been working to have everything take up as little space as possible, which I want to do a video about sometime. There are certain rooms in my house for storing stuff and that's where I keep it. Plus my basement, which I am in the process of throwing loads of huge crap out of (ruined stuff, old furniture) to make more room. I did make this room tour a couple years ago: ruclips.net/video/o2YTgXpd9kU/видео.html
How does your B.C. Rich sound plugged into that First Act amp? Anyway, another great haul Paul! You seem to get great deals on DVD's, CD's and video games.
Awesome! Any ideas on how to transpose a Viewmaster reel to a photo file? I have some amazing retro ones that I would love to share! Thanks for the great haul video!
Not sure about that! I haven't come up with an idea for it yet. I am going to make a viewmaster video but I will just film the images that I am projecting from a viewmaster projector...not in 3D of course.
Yeah the Charlie Brown ones were like that for me, I still love that 3D look, it's not something you get anywhere else. We had a projector from the 80s that we used as a kid that is still at my mom's house and now I have a really ancient one from maybe the 60's that someone sent me.
Weird Paul I found a bunch of projectors on ebay. I'm going to work on this. Thanks for your insights! Waiting for the W.P. Hall of Nostalgia to open at the Carnegie!!!
It's mostly being in the right place at the right time! Sometimes you have a bad day and don't find much. But one thing is for sure, you can only buy what they are selling at that particular moment. You can't go expecting to get some specific thing, that's not going to happen.
Man, this video was awful to make! I had the whole thing done except a couple sound effects and then the drive crashed...I lost EVERYTHING, had to start all over from the beginning...and yes, I had saved it. Hours lost. And of course I had to leave out a lot of sound effects again because the program would barely run. This computer ain't cutting it anymore.
Weird Paul That sucks, paul. I can feel you with the crashing, I made a whole YTP (RUclips poop; what i make on my channel) and my mac crashed and I lost everything on my drive. Luckly I had a drive backup but however I lost all the new ytp meterial. You should invest in a hard drive backup system. Id help you set it up!
No, everything I show in these videos goes into my collection - I keep all of it. Sometimes I look up prices on things, but I find that most of the stuff really is not worth much at all. A few things are, but many are not in very good condition...pieces missing, broken, pages cut from magazines, etc. DVDs, CDs, games and records scratched (still playable - but not worth much in that condition).
I watched wrestling every week in the 80s. My favorite wrestler was Junkyard Dog. I quit watching TV pretty much after that, I still don't watch TV (so that includes wrestling). But I still like collecting wrestling stuff.

Obviously, that doesn't apply to you, but the situation ticks me off. Don't get me wrong, I like the licenses they're based off of, but it's pretty ridiculous the prices they charge. The most annoying thing about it is that they never take a step back realize that they're charging $1,000 for 3 inches of painted, molded plastic. I apologize for ranting, but I wanted to share my thoughts.
Yeah totally understandable. I mean, there's so many things I would like to have but they are unattainable because I am so poor and those prices are insane. So that's another reason, even if I find a figure I already have, so cheap, I'm glad to have an extra one. And maybe someday, I will even give it to someone who will appreciate it, as a gift.

+Phil Jeffrey I have been asked this several times. I don't have any disabilities or disorders that I know of. It may be that I am really cool regardless, though.
The Cheap Show sent me here and I wasn't disappointed. What a great haul!
Paul, you're fantastic. And all my fellow CheapSkates, gimme a shout!
Thanks! Thank you for subscribing!
The one dislike is a person jealous they didn't find a Darkwing Duck fanny pack at a thrift store.
Nice scores on the CDs.
I was beyond excited to find that fanny pack.
Wow!
I love stuff like this it never ends always have to have more.
Wow, u did very well, Paul! "Stick up your butt" was hilarious! I enjoy your videos!
I love these series
I can't believe I've made like 30 of these now.
Nice I like learning about the 1900`s
Thanks good, because we do a lot of that on this channel.
Love this video keep collecting it's wonderful to see all the great things you collect.
Thanks Barbara!
Cool Garfield bank, Mr Clean action figure, and Kenner Star wars action figure. Cool Haul Paul!!
Thanks!
Rad, dude. The Luke figure made me so happy.
I used to love the salvation army in asheboro. And 2 different goodwills. I miss flea markets from the 90s
I’m surprised you got a Hannah Montana related item. LOL. Miley Cyrus is absolutely bonkers.
Completely and absolutely! I love the song "Party in the USA" though...but it wouldn't matter who was singing it, it's a great song.
I love Triumph. Another great Canadian power trio in the mold of Rush.50's sci-fi movies are the best! _The Day the Earth Stood Still_ is one of my favourites. Gort never had to ask for Robot Armor.
Fight the good fight every moment! Nobody was gonna piss on Gort...
Wow, Pop Will Eat Itself - that's a band name you don't hear about anymore. Great score this month, Paul!
Thanks! Last time I heard that band name was probably while watching 120 minutes on MTV.
9:14 I GOTTA BELIEVE!
19 dollars... legendary thrifting.
I've done better, I've done worse!
Oh that's sweet!
PEANUT BUTTER RECALL
I remember them all
😎
it's funny about the answering machine. We used to have some people call in and they got the wrong number and they started talking crazy
Those are the ones I want to find!
The Pretzel People were Hot Sam! I only mention it because we always had one in our local mall and I grew up eating those damn things!
I saw that "Hot Sam" on there. I don't think we had that around these parts...I don't remember it. It's a great wooden nickel collectible now!
I myself have a collection of Pez dispensers, but I was unaware of that psychedelic one until Paul brought it up.
Your hauls are so diverse! From Dio to My Fair Lady👍
That's because my interests are so diverse!
We get photos of STRANGERS all the time at the thrift store where I work... I always want to DO something with them - involving mod podge and jewellery.... haha! And OMG on your haul on music this month. FLASHBACK.
Yeah one of the art gallery exhibits I want to do someday would involve all those photos...
Nice haul for June! Thank you for showing Dynamite magazine! I used to get those from Troll Book club (remember that?) back in elementary and middle school in the 80s. I could kick myself for not going through it all and saving some of it. Could have sent you some of the stuff too!
I know how it is. I threw away almost all of my old school papers back in the 80s. I'm glad I kept what I did!
I love pitfall
Dude awesome video! That Mr. Clean figure is the best, I never knew they made one.
Thanks! I didn't know either, until I saw it at the store!
Only $19.00 , you got some awesome shopping skills.
Thanks Bill! I have done better, I have done worse!
You’re the best, Paul!!!
xoxo The Clarences
Great finds as always
Hey Paul. My thrift store had vhs tapes for only 26 cents and I picked up a copy of E.T. and watched it. SCORE!
Woah, 26¢, that's great! I almost NEVER see them that cheap now. Is it the green E.T. tape?
The tape is green on the bottom. They actually had 2 of them lol.
the mister Clean is pretty cool looking
I probably paid more for that than any other item in the video, but I wanted it!
Weird Paul I think I pick it up too cuz that's kind of cool
Hope you have a good Fourth of July, Paul!
Thanks! You too!
I'd love to buy some jazz cds from you! Thrift stores around here don't have anything to offer. I get so jealous watching your awesome finds! Super entertaining :)
Glad you enjoy them! I keep buying because I always think, maybe this won't last forever...better get while the getting is good!
cool crazy bone figure, i actually am an admin for the crazy bones wikia.
First Men in the Moon movie is one of my favorites, love the monsters in it & stop motion.
Woah, I didn't know there was a crazy bone wikia. I have hundreds of crazy bones, I'll have to check it out.
Triumph? I love Power of the Music. Great song that's underrated MY husband is a big fan of ELP both versions, powell and Palmer. He had this album
On the Eric Clayton guitar festival Blu-ray my dad can be seen in the crowd
Woah!

Heal the World by Michael Jackson you lucky son of a gun I'm a huge Michael Jackson fan
Yeah and I don't see that one around much!
Me too
That I’m 4 Beatles pin is from 1964 one of my mom’s friends (who’s 74 years old) saw The Beatles live in Toronto on September 7th 1964 she has the same pin, a tour program and her ticket from the concert
I like Ponderosa you had a good meal for a good deal
Went there every month when I was growing up.
I'm always curious about how you store all of your collection. That candy dispenser is my top favorite candy/toy invention.
I want to do a video on how to collect things so that they take up less room, but I haven't had time yet. Right now I just have this room tour that I did a couple years ago: ruclips.net/video/o2YTgXpd9kU/видео.html
4:10 Encore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you, thank you.
I subscribed and clicked the bell !!!
Awesome, thank you!
One thumbs down, really? Someone was bummed you beat them to that Like character, you know it! Haters got to hate.
It seems like it must be older
nice score!
Thanks!
Epic DVD haul :)
Got some good ones in there! Couldn't believe I got that Live Aid set for 75¢, it's not so easy to find!
I found Great Space Coaster on CED, but my player is broken. Plus I got a VHS that had a date and time on it of Great Balls of Fire. Not sure why that was on it because it otherwise looked normal. PS I have my orig. Luke fig with a very wobbly head.
Woah, that GSC CED has gotta be HTF
Good Will has gotten too pricey anymore. I pretty much quit going there. I got some great deals on Face book Marketplace. Two RC planes. Wow, fast turn around on that mower!
Weird Paul I sold one a year ago before I even got it out of the driveway from where I bought it. A lady I know had been looking for a trim mower for using after using her riding mower. Very cool! Thanks!
ah, 2004. What were you doing back then? Shocking to think that was 14 yes ago.
I was working on my album I PUNCH YOU. And raising my son!
I think I saw that Life Magazine with Max headroom at the Bethel Park library. Did it also feature Mike Tyson, and the oldest living man who died in Japan that year? Don't record over that answering machine tape. It could be useful. ~Buzz Killer, Talking Zombie From Western Pennsylvania
where do you store all of your collections? you have an enormous amount of treasures!!!

How does your B.C. Rich sound plugged into that First Act amp? Anyway, another great haul Paul! You seem to get great deals on DVD's, CD's and video games.
The B.C. Rich probably won't sound very good through it! I tried plugging my laptop in it and it sounded awful! It's great for vocals, though!
I love you 😂😍😍😍
Nice😁👍
I'm also in pgh jusr wondering what thrift shops you go to?
Awesome! Any ideas on how to transpose a Viewmaster reel to a photo file? I have some amazing retro ones that I would love to share! Thanks for the great haul video!
Not sure about that! I haven't come up with an idea for it yet. I am going to make a viewmaster video but I will just film the images that I am projecting from a viewmaster projector...not in 3D of course.
oh, I have a stack of Viewmaster reels too, this would be a great idea.
Weird Paul The 3D quality of some is amazing. I love the clay animation types (Bugs Bunny esp.). I didn't know there were projectors. Thank you!
I always wanted PEZ but never got it. :(
Totally rad Paul! How do you get such great thrift store deals?
It's mostly being in the right place at the right time! Sometimes you have a bad day and don't find much. But one thing is for sure, you can only buy what they are selling at that particular moment. You can't go expecting to get some specific thing, that's not going to happen.
Weird Paul True. Good advice!
PWEI!
you should make a book wit tab for your music id buy it
That would be cool, it's not a project I have time for, but maybe once we get 100,000 subscribers I can pay someone to put it together!
Do you have Cutting Crew Brodcast on vinyl or cd?
No I don't have any of their albums.
I have Brodcast and The Scattering on record
Hey Paul! Nice thrift haul! I love the Metallica singles, I'd buy them from you! How was your day?
Man, losing EVERYTHING on your drive, that's gotta be the worst!
just realized how much you sound like fry from futurama. you ever get that?
You're the first, so far
Pop will eat itself...dont they sing What A Meal.
Cereal that eats ITSELF...now there's an idea.
Do you have a store where you sell these? You have a lot valuable items.
Weird Paul Awesome. I love your collection. As someone who loves yard sales (assumption), do you ever have yard sales?
I don't. I don't have a front yard at all...
Did/do you like wrestling?
I watched wrestling every week in the 80s. My favorite wrestler was Junkyard Dog. I quit watching TV pretty much after that, I still don't watch TV (so that includes wrestling). But I still like collecting wrestling stuff.
Does your sister still collect Pez Dispenser?
Yes. She has enough to film a room I'm sure.
Does she have Wall-E and EVE on Pez I bet she Does! If not I'll mail some PEZ to your sister how she likes it's and that's cool she collects PEZ stuff
I mean absolutely no offense in this, but why'd you buy the X-Wing Luke? You already have him.
No offense taken, but if you saw any Star Wars figure for a nickel...you wouldn't buy it?
Weird Paul True, especially with the ridiculous market for these figures. I want to collect these figures, but the hardcore collectors make it hard, by hogging all the figures, & flogging them for ludicrous prices. Obviously, that doesn't apply to you, but the situation ticks me off. Literally the only reasons they charge such insane prices is because they're old, no longer in production, & based off of licenses that people like.
Weird Paul Thank you for this conversation, Paul. :)
Where the hell are you finding 66 DVDs for under $20, amongst all the other treasures. There's no way! I do alot of thrifting, even at a quarter a piece it doesn't sound reasonable.
I am getting them for about a dime each. Many of them are scratched, but they still play.
wat only 99!!!
Do you need help?
No. How about you? I don't really have much time to help anyone, though, I'm pretty busy right now.
I'm pretty good too. I was just making sure.
Hi Paul, I was just wondering if you had a disability or disorder. I'm not insulting you, I'm just asking.
+Phil Jeffrey I have been asked this several times. I don't have any disabilities or disorders that I know of. It may be that I am really cool regardless, though.
I just found you and I love you 😍
+power girl 😊
