- I have been doing this work for many years and this was crazy... I can't believe how this rescue ended, and the reunion at the end will melt your heart.

I'm a grown man and I broke down when they reunited mom with her daughter.
I felt so sad when mom was running around looking for her during the rescue.

That's Eldad's magic touch! He is the ultimate dog whisperer!
That's actually something that works with scared dogs -- assuming they've had an owner. They don't know what you're going to them, they're scared, but if you tell them to sit in a calm and/or stern voice, then they know you're not a threat, and that sitting will make you happy.
I think Mom got tired of running and just hoped they wouldn’t hurt her. So glad they were adopted together. May they live long and happy lives together.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing dogs adopted together. I think we really need to change our attitude about adopting single dogs. They are incredibly social creatures. Having only one dog at home (unless it's a service dog) is really hard on many dogs. They are very lonely and bored even when their humans are home.

I think part of the reason I love watching Hope for Paws videos is Eldad's calm voice. His ability to stay calm in any situation is really a gift. I find it calming and reassuring, as clearly the animals do :) It makes watching these videos particularly captivating. He and Loreta make a great team because she is so kind and gentle. Also, Eldad is great at staying calm and thinking of solutions to problems very quickly. So admirable.

I almost cried when Tiffany surrendered to you. When they were adopted together, I could not hold back the tears. They are both so precious. I am beyond happy that you were able to help them and they will be together.
The dog understood commands, which means she had an owner once 😭 it's heartbreaking to think the owner just got rid of her. 😭

You can help now hun! I was rescuing and saving animals since I was 8. Just contact the right rescue place for the right animal and you can save and stray or hurt wild animal. Just be safe with the wild ones lol

Sometimes it seems like they recognise when someone says 'good girl/boy' to them and while it's so great when that helps to foster trust with them, it's so upsetting to wonder how they went from knowing the love of those words to being homeless on the street.

That word "Sit" worked like magic for this little mamma. She obviously had been taught this by a previous owner. The sound of a word and command that she knew, said in a commanding way, stirred her memory and provided the semblance of structure of something that she knew out in the big bad world. She obeyed. If only it worked like this with all the little rascals out there on the run!! Good job!!

The happiest of happy endings!! As always you guys are absolute heroes for saving these dogs AND covering the cost of all their medical care. Just recently I rescued a dog who had been abandoned in an industrial area of LA and you guys said you were out of state and couldn't help but if he needed any medical attention you'd cover it. Thankfully he didn't and we got him to a rescue but still you guys are just amazing!!
I've had my dog for 10 years and she still doesn't sit and this dog sat without even knowing him lol

My heart did melt at the ending and also as Eldad was able to catch the mom dog without a leash or food. Great job, Eldad and Loreta. I wish mother and daughter many happy years with their new, loving family.

How malnourished they must've been if jumping off a couch made their leg just snap clean through both bones...
Younger animals don't have as strong of bones as their older counterparts. It's actually pretty common for young house animals to break a bone by jumping off a bed, couch, or even jumping off a single step! But I don't doubt malnutrition was part of this little girls issue.
Exactly what I was thinking. Don't want to imagine what happened to the mom's other puppies. So glad she has at least 1 surviving child and now adopted together!
Do The Do I’m sure they were malnourished and there’s no telling for sure the health of that pup’s bones without a bone density scan or even bloodwork. However, young mammals can break easily at a young age. Their bones are still developing and trauma can overwhelm their structure. Additionally, based on her size, the height of the couch could have just been too high in general.

If it were a healthy dog you likely wouldn't see a several month old pup break like that unless you've got some crazy couch, they're less than two feet tall. She's not all that small.
