- In this video i am going to show you how to clean the fans of laptop.
The tutorial is 100% correct but like everyone i am not responsible for any damage you do to you laptop because of carelessness or any reason.
But you can follow half of the tutorial till its 100% safe.

Bro suddenly my fps has dropped to 80 in valo from 250,if stays at 250 then drops to 80 for 10 or 15 mins then goes back to 250
@ayushm1939 check are the fans spinning and monitor the temperature
@@sharkieislive fans are spinning and temp is little less like in high 70s when in 80 fps else I have tcc offset set at 88 so it goes till 88 when having normal fps

Hell bro i want your help will you please tell me that dell g15 has how many slots for upgrading storage
in 5515 2 slots and anything after 5515 model only 1 slot . 5520 also with only one slot and is expandable upto 2tb with PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe ssd or upto 1tb with PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe

I'm using 5530 it have 2 slots.
I ruined my laptop for a reason even I don't know. At first it was not turning on at all so I opened up the back cover (watching a tutorial) . I cleaned the fans from the upper side only and didnt take out anything else except the battery. But I did not press the power button for draining the residual power because I hadnt seen your video . I didnt unscrew anything except the battery and the cover
try to unplug the battery , then drain the residual power by holding power button , now remove the ram and exchange the places if this doesnt work try to boot by plugging only one ram, plug the battery and loosely place the bottom lid without screws .plug in the laptop to charger before trying to turn it on .
@@sharkieisliveare you saying to unplug the adapter or the internal battery wire ? I tried the first one now I have to try with one ram stick
@@dot6989 yes try. And take a note if the charging led on the laptop is blinking in a certain colour in certain pattern like white white amber etc. these will help determine what is the fault
can we just seperately remove fan without removing whole motheroard, plz reply if possible
No cannot remove fans only. It's screwed to motherboard with heatsink. You can remove fans from heatsink but that will also require you to remove and flip the motherboard

Bro when I try to unscrew the bottom left and right screws i hear loud clicking sounds and the entire back panel starts to deform and starts to pop out,
Is this normal?
the 4 screws in middle that wont come out will make clicking sounds they are locking sounds

I would say try reconnecting the ribbon cable

Remember guys ,
1. The screws in the bottom lower in cover holds both the speakers , so be gentle , i already broked both of them so it feels bad ,
2. The middle screws are installed with washers so all you need is to losen them, they'll still be in cover so don't keep unscrewing ,

Can i clean the fans without removing the battery?
No, strongly not recommended at all, because even a little touch with screw can short your motherboard. Still if you want to then atleast disconnect both the fan cables

@@sharkieislive bro I have set custom preset in my Alienware command centre in my dell g15 5530, I have set tcc offset to 15 and have set cpu freqn to 4.8ghz
But sometimes when I start games it automatically reduces to 2.3 and when I exit the game it again reaches above 4
It only happens with this custom preset
@@ayushm1939 i think you dont have that preset added to the game profile. If you see that game on awcc then click on that icon and set the profile. If there is no game there. Add a game from library and then select the profile manually. Next time it will stay like that. Also tcc offset is too high. Keep it like 10 that's more than enough to not loose much performance and keep laptop safe

@@sharkieislive ok I will check with the tcc offset but the thing is majority of the times the custom preset works on games,but sometimes it just drops ,I think it's a bug of awcc but I will definitely check with game profile too
Will Dell Service Center help in changing Thermal Paste ?
uhh in my case they simply denied that you dont need to change thermal paste,your temps are fine even though they were hitting 100. but i stuck to my words and in the end they did a full fan replacement and I asked the technician to give me rest of the thermal paste (so i dont need to go through the same process and waste my time).this took me 2 weeks to convince but its dell what can you do.They will try their best to solve the problem remotely

Hey, I need some help, I have the same pc, and the battery light is blinking orange, but the battery is fine and works normally
How many times it is blinking?
it's a colour code to diagnose problem.
Also the light gets amber while charging when the battery is critically low
@@sharkieislive it’s orange, and blinks forever, it has no pattern or other colors, and it’s when it’s connected to the charger. Already received the messages “battery unusable” and “system can’t communicate with the battery”
@@rannithewitch9967 then there must be some hardware error if it's under warranty try contacting Dell through support assist.if warranty is over then no other option than using it as is. You may try resetting the windows if possible
