CAD MAPPER does not have all the 3D data of my place, I end up with some buildings in 2D. Is there a solution to get all my buildings in 3D with an exact proportion? I can't fill in the box "Set false height if no 3D data" because not all buildings are the same height.
CADMapper pulls data from OpenStreetMap, so it is limited in the information it contains. Unfortunately, if the building heights of the site aren’t in the database, it would not work properly. You can always ask the urban planning departments of the region you are working on to send you 3d models or building heights info
Hi, thank you for making such amazing video, however, I have a question here as a newbie. May I know if the scale will run if I send the scene from Sketchup to Layout?
Hi, so glad you liked the tutorial!! If your model scale is 1:1, the size will adjust automatically based on the artboard size you've chosen. In the Sketchup Model section in Layout, you can verify the Current Scale from the Camera Settings.
first thank you for the great video!! i have one problem: my window tool doesn't "create and place" the window to a wall? how can I solve it ? thanks for any help!
Hi there! You can get two separate exports to workaround that problem. First get your regular 2D export, then get another export with transparent elements hidden. After that you can superimpose those two export files in either illustrator or Photoshop.

Hi there, thank you for your comment! You need to enter the group and use the window plugin, it should automatically create windows when you do that

One question, when I export the sketchup lines, I cannot see what is behind a glass or a window, how do I solve that?
