Being an old school player, I was always a stomp box kind of guy, got an ME 70 a few years ago, just could not figure how to use it. Thank you for this video, well explained and I think I will re dust my unit and start using it.

Yes, you can ad modulation to distortion and there are a couple of different option for setting a lead boost. That is one of the coolest things about the unit.

But of recent i have been experiencing problem with the Gadget the saved programs are keep on changing without Being assigned.it starts with program number 1 and changing To number 70 randomly.that means sounds changes uncontrollably while playing.if someone has experienced such problem and solved It please help me out. I leave in Daresalaam tanzania East Africa where we dont have an authorized dealers. thx guys
I have a big question... my girlfriend has a pedal like this, she just bought an adaptor for it and it works. The problem is that you can't hear anything from it, and yes, the guitar is plugged in the pedal and the pedal is plugged in the amp. Here's the question, do you need some special amp for this pedal or something else?
Have a question. My son has one of those modeling amps. Fender Mustang 3. Is this something he can use with that too. What setting would he put it to to use the pedal.
The modeling amps do a lot of stuff already. He can either leave the amp on a straight clean sound and use the distortions from the ME70 or he can use the distortions from the amp and use the other effects from the pedal (EQ, chorus/modulation, delays, etc). You just have to be careful about applying distortion sounds from the pedal on top of distortions sounds from the amp. It's easy to get out of control with a lot of feedback etc. when doing so. It can be done, but it takes some experimenting to get the type of sounds that appeal to your individual tastes.
Hi, I was wondering if and how you can use the delay when you are using the loops phraser, can you create a loop and let it play then you can turn the knob to your desired delay settings ? Thanks in advance.

Anyone noticed how the Rotary, Uni -V, Tremolo and Vibrato all start at quick rates even though the dial is on very low? Then you adjust it up, then down to get slow rate. Flanger etc, all no problem.
TheJofrica YUP. I'm not too technically minded, but somehow E-15 on the front page of the manual caught my attention. Seemed to realise I should read it haha. Yeah, it's down to the EZ tone. I like EZ as it gives distortions a professional finish.
Noodles37UK Sweet, yeah the EZ tones are instant fun. Great little machine, it's gotten me through a lot of church gigs, and I've learned a lot about effects from it (that was my original purpose, to learn basic effects) :)
G5 isn't a bad unit honestly. G5 features a newer chip than the old g2.1u and they sound better. But it's a matter of preference. I got the ME-70 in the end though.
Why the hell does everyone solo when demoing gear? Give me a friggin' riff, it's what I'm going to be playing like 90% of the time, soloes are just decorations
theguitarboy2212 you have to press the od/ds switch and the modulation switch at the same time. also, press the comp switch and the od/ds switch the same time to switch to preset mode vice versa.
I have the me-70, works fine for me. I think the me-80 has USB capability but the me-70 does not. I think the voices might be very close, i.e., not a major upgrade in terms of tones
Just wondering is it possible to have multiple channels on at the same time? i.e distortion on with modulation... And also perhaps a distortion tone and have a solo boost switch aswell?
Sounds cheap like he's running it strait into a ghetto box. I had two of the older BOSS multi FX like this. When I upgraded to my ZOOM G 9.2tt the pre amp instantly sounded better. Now I'm wondering if the Zoom G5 is even better

+Various Things I have one for some years now and i use it regularly for live situations and recording and it´s a very good addition to my pedals. It does not sound horrible at all if you know how to use it. May not be the best sounding amp simulations and tones on the market, but far from horrible. It´s actually a very useful handy unit.
+snake Hi Snake. Seing as no one has bothered to reply. I found out today that there is a noise suppressor. There is a buttom N/S THRES/BANK. The N/S THRES is the noise suppressor threshold button.

Bought one of these a week ago that was broken for £35. Cost me £9 to fix it.Great.

Main output level does not get displayed, but the levels for each individual effect and for the preamp section are displayed in the LED display.
Simplistic review, didn't touch on presets, banks, the inputs/outputs or extension pedal. ME70 does more than he shows here, great unit imho.
