Thanks for taking taking my idea of watching I Had An Accident. It is my favorite Spongebob episode. I loved it when I saw it first premiere on Nick back in 2003 on Saturday. I loved the parts with the gorilla especially the ending on why there is one underwater in the first place then came the horse and they rode into the sunset.
Yeah crazy in a funny way and dropped tons of memes, since season 10 or 11 he turned to a braindead annoying child, honestly my least favorite character in new episodes while I love him in the first like 6 or 7 seasons. Sad :/
You’re completely correct a lot of SpongeBob’s humor is subverting expectation. That’s what makes it so great and then some of it is just complete randomness which we all can enjoy. Also, Tom Kenny, the voice actor for SpongeBob really gets to shine in a lot of these episodes and show off his wide range of vocal abilities, whether it be through song or impression or just plain SpongeBob shows how talented he is
I love Sandy saying to Patrick, "Don't you have someplace else to be stupid?" and him saying, "Not until four." That look she gives him. And i don't think you showed it in your reaction, but when the two of them came back from sand boarding to visit SpongeBob and Patrick was laughing, Sandy just looked so annoyed at him.
I like to think of jellyfish in SpongeBob as both butterflies and bees. They catch jellyfish like butterflies and both jellyfish and bees sting to protect themselves
There are a few I recommend. SpongeBob B.C. (Before Comedy) The SpongeBob Musical (watchable on Paramount+) The first two SpongeBob movies. Oh and Plankton vs Krabs.
The episode "The Night Patty " from spongebob squarepants season 11 is a pretty cool story, involving a Night shift. With very unique looking characters and meals.
1:45 haha, really unexpected twist with the video game. very creative idea 😄 10:55 Sandys face here, gets me every time xD I really like that you're watching so many good classic Spongebob episodes lately. keep it up 👍
That gorilla gave me nightmares for at least 6 years aftr i first watched it but even then I still got excited and still to this day get excited when Born Again Krabs(Which I suggest) comes on because I Had An Accident comes on immediately after it.
SpongeBob hiding in his house all day was exactly how I was during the pandemic. I didn't want to go outside for anything because I was so paranoid, but now, thankfully, that ship sailed, and hopefully, we never have to go through something like that ever again
In season 3 there is an episode where there is snow and it is called "Snowball Effect." he writers definitely don't always follow underwater logic. Hence SpongeBob having bones and being able to break them.
I like your sense of humor, Brandon. Patrick asking "Never ever?" one last time and then Spongebob slamming the door in his face would've been a great way to bookend the gag. XD
Imagine this being someone's first SpongeBob episode. This was probably those parents first episode. Not only its bizarre and funny to have guy in a live action gorilla suit, but i just thought it was really funny that he suddenly has a live action chair and smashes it over the bag like a wrestler.
Yeah, jellyfish had stingers, but this show takes it up to electrocution levels for the danger comedy. I love the contrast on how they just kept the live-action part and just inserted it into the animation background.
Spongebob is amazing, I remember this episode when I had a rough day at school, and just had a good laugh. One show or series I recommend is "The Worst Witch (2017)", it's a series about someone going to a magical boarding school, thought it might be interesting and can be taken to the polls.

To clarify the gag about the pine tree wearing scuba gear, the joke is that the pine tree shouldn't even be underwater in the first place. Remember, in the world of SpongeBob, all trees are just tall coral or kelp.
Fun fact: Sponges actually do filter feed. That scene must've been funny to record🤣🤣🤣🤣 Also Goo Lagoon is a big brine ocean, if i remember correctly brine is thicker than water
Fellow SpongeBobians youll have to refresh this old guys memory (meaning me not our esteemed principal ;) ) ripped pants was the first appearance of goo lagoon right?……it has a lesson about going too far to impress people (musclebob buffpants is good for this as well ironically also taking place primarily at goo lagoon but i know im not getting it confused for ripped pants when i say it was the first appearance of goo lagoon)
SpongeBob's "indoors" song and him befriending the items is very fun and iconic. The gorilla on the other hand is so disturbing, unsettling, and random. I never liked this episode. Am glad to get to watch you react to it anyways and see what you think. People were obviously gonna recommend it. It was a really good reaction too. Gotta love it.
Fun fact: Carolyn Lawrence (no relation to Mr. Lawrence (Plankton)), who provides the voice of Sandy, also provided the voice of Cindy Vortex, Jimmy Neutron's rival on the Jimmy Neutron show.
Another occasion I recall the sand mountain would be S2's Pre Hibernation Week, which I could recommend for reaction followed by Survival of the Idiots, which had snow in Sandy's home. But we did have snow across Bikini Bottom in S3's Snowball Effect - the 'logic' being an iceberg overhead at the surface. Think that's a good Squidward impression, maybe try Opposite Day from S1. Pretty sure the scuba mask was a gag on the land tree not from underwater. In S2's Pressure, she pointed at that acorn when saying she's a great climber; SpongeBob just thought it meant she was nuts. XD Ah yes, The Bully where he just absorbed the blows. Maybe we best not think too deep into it... Yesterday, I got my wisdom teeth out. Mouth is a little sore... My favorite instance of "this is crazy talk" would probably be the Art Museum episode of The Upside Down Show. Should be fine for reaction; they're all in full on RUclips, now... Speaking of Plankton, I got reminded when he gathered his family to steal the Patty formula. I think that scene with Sandy in Procrastination might be cut in some broadcasts, along with the live-action roadster spinning out. The jellyfish are netted like butterflies, but they're more often like bees - they buzz, sting, and squirt Jelly in a similar fashion to honey. Impressive you guessed that twist with the Patrick suit. The live-action moments are pretty GOATed. I saw Sorta Stupid debate if the spotted horse at the end was a cow or a zebra.
In the SpongeBob video game for PS2, Xbox, and GameCube, SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for Bikini Bottom, (Bikini Bottom is the name of the town he lives in, if you forgot.) there's a level where you go to Sand Mountain and have to complete sand boarding levels. They also remastered that game for current consoles.
Good reaction. This episode was pretty funny, and I liked the Indoors song. But that ending was so random and I still don’t know why it ended like that 😅🤣
Reminds me of a year ago I stung by a wasp and I was afraid to go outside for a few days but either some convincing from friends and family I went outside for the first time and it was great. Cause I couldn't even sit or stand 1 minute outside. After one second I'd run inside!'😂
I just imagine the writers room being stumped as to how to end the episode. They think the gorilla part is too genius to sacrifice, so eventually they just decide on complete nonsense, hoping that the 4th wall break will be enough to justify it.
11:30 Actually they always had that ability, hehe Also this episode of SpongeBob was always something, I enjoyed this one, also 1 rare thing when the show points out something enological. Hehe. Really do like that when it happens for some reason
As a child, I used to be terrified of that gorilla just as SpongeBob, as well as Patrick and Sandy, was. But other than that, this is most certainly one of the funniest and out-there SpongeBob episodes.
That gorilla ending might be even stranger to me than the ending of the episode SpongeBob tried breaking puff out of jail. Everything just went from funny to immediately intense
@@Dragons_Warrios500 SpongeBob:no, Patrick is right Sandy, you saw what happened to me. And next time it might not just be my butt maybe my armpit or my forehead
C.H. He also wrote "Band Geeks" and that crazy/surreal episode "Doing time" and "chocolate with nuts" you reacted to. All of those are hilarious and the jokes seem out of place in an amazing way though lol. Anyway, I hope you react to "SB-129" soon, it's my favorite episode since day 1.
Unpopular opinion: Sandy said clam wrestling is fan, cause that reminds her of the day she and SpongeBob Met. While they were saving each other from a giant clam
The only logical explanation I can think of as to why SpongeBob got injured in this episode but not the bully one, is probably because of his skeletal structure. I believe there's been an episode (or two) that showed that he's mostly pelvis. The bully kept punching SpongeBob in the upper part of his body where there's less bones to make contact with. Whereas in this episode, he got injured in the lower part of his body where his pelvis is.
Sometimes it snows in Bikini Bottom. In 'Snowball Effect' (which was my oldest brother's favorite when we were kids) and the Christmas epsiode. Think there are others but not sure.
Even the writers didnt know where this episode was going haha
That what it feels like
They just ran out of ideas, but that's okay. It was still funny!
The most memorable part of the episode to me for some reason is Patrick saying "Do it again, I wasn't looking!"
I still quote it regularly
Lol 😂
That and the "and that's when I punch him, right?" line live rent-free in my head
That, and the way Sandy looked at him when he said it 😭
“Don’t you have to be stupid somewhere else?”
“Not until 4.” LOL!!!!
It's funny that Spongebob says Indoors you never get harmed.
Even though in real life, Many injuries happen in the comfort Of your own home.
True
Literally almost fell down the stairs today because I saw a spider

Sandy: Patrick, that's not fun.
Old man: It is for me.

And squidward didn’t see or hear the “gorilla” apparently lol 😂
or possibly did not regard the gorilla.
The gorilla was all a figment of SpongeBob's, Patrick's, and Sandy's imagination.
He had it bad enough with the sea bear!
3:51 classic Patrick!!! My 2nd favorite Patrick moment ever!!!🤣 the professional idiot.
2:27 hearing Tom Kenny (SpongeBob's voice actor) do a Squidward impression never fails to make me laugh.
This episode actually got a glow of recognition back in 2020 because of Spongebob being isolated in his house
Patrick in old seasons is crazy in normal way then modern seasons

".Aww Man, it itches"
I have never laughed exactly as i did the first time i heard that line and saw that scene.
This is the 4th episode where SpongeBob is split in half. The first 3 are "Pizza Delivery", "Texas", and "Procrastination."
Thanks
This happened ti some degree in “WORM!!!” Where Sandy spit SpongeBob into two like a door.
This is one of my favorites. The gorilla got me laughing so hard

"Krusty Love " from spongebob squarepants season 2 is a relatable and funny episode. 😅
In the german dub, The Gorilla and George have the same dub voices as Patchy and Potty, leading me to believe they might be the same characters.
Probably one of the most goated appearances of Patrick, he's dropping banger after banger in this episode 😂

Lol I can’t wait to watch this reaction. Even as a six-year-old this episode was a little too unhinged for me.
