very good lecture....so easy to understand
I really liked your videos. Please upload the explanation of kaplan turbine.
Excellent explanation of Francis Turbine. I want to thank you for this very informative and helpful video. I would like to request you to upload a video about cross flow turbine. Where a multi-stage centrifugal pump will act as water source, flow rate and net head and pen stroke for the turbine. The suction head of the pump will be 1.5 m and the vertical length Between sump level and parallel center line of the turbine runner is 5 m. Please upload a video explaining required motor power and flow rate and head of pump to get 30 KW power output. Thank you.
SIR your lectures are very useful for us...please upload more lectures on turbomachine part. thank u so much
You are great
Teaching at other level😮😮
Thanks a lot😍😘
Congratulation for the explanation. I have only one question, the direction of the u2 and vr2 are not wrong? the movement of the blade is counter clock so the direction of the speed is the same.
Very good lecture. Why you analyze everything for one blade only? Is it not necessary to multiply the power by the number of blades? I understand that almost all blades are impulsed by water simultaneously.
very clear explanation sir...thank u sir keep it continue..
Hydraulic pumps-pumps flow and pressure, pump drive, torque and power, efficiency, types of
pumps-gear, vane, piston; pressure compensated pumps, cavitation and aeration, velocity
triangles, centerline thermodynamic analysis...please do on this topics sir....
amazing i realy liked it
very very helping
thanks lot professor
very effective video.....nice work ...keep it up
thank you avishek.
it's so nice. thank u sir :)
Super explanation sir, please solve some problems on Francis n Pelton wheel for gate
Pavan Bhat yes I will do it....watch my lecture series in machine design also when you will need it..your all concepts will be cleared
Thank you sir, you're actually a god
Sir thank you so much........ You have helped me to learn easily the topic.
Superb sir
Sir please make videos regarding
Engineering mechanics concepts
Sir your explanation is simply superb
Brilliant lecture!
please can you do an analysis of a kaplan turbine, video helped alot in the understanding of our turbomachinery subject
get ready for the lecture on air conditioning and refrigeration
15:52 It's not the resultant. v1 is the resultant of u1 and vr1.
Yes you are correct. Vr1 is the relative. V1 is the resultant
Excellent explained sir
Thankuuu
Great explanation on all the velocity components. Can you make more videos on turbo machinery?
your explanation is very clear and thank u sir
Sravani Venkatadurga thankyou very much...eatch my other videos also wen you need it
rohit sir first ur work is the best work so ur greater work sir plz pumps calculation plzzzz sir kk lvuuuuuuu so much n tquuuuuuuu
your lecture very nice to understand the concepts every one
NIce Video Man...Thanku!!
Thanks for the knowledge.
ur videos are vere helpful for me sir.... please do a video on kaplon turbine tooo
Hi Rohit! Very helpful video. Can you please discuss some of the losses in the Francis turbine?
Thank you for this intro to Francis turbine. Is there any way to discuss cavitation and, more importantly, swirling flow effects on Francis turbines too?
Many thanks you helped us a lot
Actually I'm writing a Francis turbine and pelton turbine report, pelton efficiency is between 50to80 while Francis is between 4 to 17 percent, I don't know what's wrong with the Francis one. I'm thinking whether the we put turbine vertically instead of landscape position matters.
pls make a video on centrifugal pump too...n this video was very much helpful..thank you :)
ok I will make it soon
Nice explanation.plz upload more lecture for problem also.
i am a bit confused on draft tube!!!! How does it helps in avoiding cavitation????
great work Sir.
abhishek dogra thankyou for yr support
Good work easily explained.
Ashutosh Kiit thankyou for your precious comment
neat and clean ..very helpful sir
Extremely well explained sir, but sir one suggestion is there is no need to pronounciate like a foreigner, you can speak like a Indian.
sir i really appreciate your work...kindly help me about mechanical working of this francis turbine...means rotAr and stator blades...which kind of blades used??
i wanted to ask you , can you put the whole design of a turbine impeller ? and the formulas to use to design the vanes and the hole tyrbine .
Sir .... Please make a Video on Centrifugal pumps Problems
Nice language ,so easy ,thanks
when you will upload lecture on kaplan turbine?
very good lecture sir...!!!
valid info. keep it up, try to do it for pumps also.....
thank you..yes I shall give
Sir at 18:53 how The direction of tangential velocity of vane (not tangential component of resultant velocity) at exit of the turbine( u2) is horizontal?
nice lecture. Can you please explain something about meridian velocity?
Sir, why the direction of tangential components is different at inlet and out even when rotor is rotating in one direction only
nicely explained sir ... tq .
thanks about your lecture . can u sir please explain why these runner blades are curved than straight?
+Vijaypaul Siddani I cannot explain you that in video but I will get that thing in the CENGEL fluid mechanics inthe turbine chapter in detail..download the pdf from internet...thankyou
Very good lecture.....thank you
KD LIN you can comment if you need lecture on other topics
do Francis turbine and a gas in flow radial turbine have the same concept ? ,,,, What are the Shroud and the hub of the turbine
Very good
it is very helpful
thanks you so much
Can i know about the pressure difference on blade how it occurs and helps to rotate and why it is called reaction turbine???
excellent explanation bro
what is the difference between u1 and u2? are they both equal to tang vel of runner
Thanks a lot for this nice explanation🙏
Awesome lecture Bro 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Sir my question is regarding turbochargers used on automobiles . The turbine side on a turbo is similar to or basically is a Francis turbine right ? My goal is to amplify boost and I was planning on using nozzling to do so . So my question is ..is it advisable to increase the velocity of the exhaust gas which will enter through the penstock ? Plz respond
I won't be able to answer you this question. Thank you. But I m understanding what you r trying to ask.
But I can say one thing that increase in velocity of the exhaust gas by nozzling will help you to amplify the boost by small extent
Okay thank you sir .
Amzing lecture sir. Please upload on centrifugal pump
It is already there
You search centrifugal pump lecture.. First video you will GEt mine
Thnks for reply sir
Best lecture
Sir.... Give lecture on degree of reaction of francis turbine and conditions for maximum efficiency of turbines
What is the difference between flow velocity and radial velocity in case of a reaction turbine?
Well explained sir ❤️
as pressure change in radial direction so force also developed in radial direction then ho we get rotation .because rotation is caused by tangential force
Very good explain.
sir what is the relation between Vf1 and Vf2 because in some question i found that Vf1 is equals to Vf2 for francis turbine...
Why the direction of velocity of blade at exit section is in opposite direction as shown in fig?
Thankyou very good video
I want an explanation on Kaplan turbine.....
i will explain you
very nicely explained, keep it up bro!
thank you very much bro..thanks...
Hi. What are the components of power delivered to runner?
I am proud to you
Times for indian thank you sir. Thank you very much
Sir...thank you but how to do do problems when questioned like to design a turbine for radial discharge
Pls sir can centrifugal pump be use as turbine or Francis turbine
sir plzz explain outward radial flow turbine working... means from where water came into runner and exit...??
Sir how to calculate the runner velocity u since it is split into two components
very well explained thank you
but V1 & u1 resultant force can't be Vr .Unless your u1 go opposite direction.
Please explain
