This video is amazing! I got rejected for an undergrad degree in Theology at Cambridge and so I went to Durham and LOVED it, but I have just received an offer for masters at Cambridge ;) I would not change this for the world
This video was very helpful🙂. I got rejected post interview by Oxford for Maths and whilst I was prepared for this outcome, it still feels very bad but I'm going to use this as a learning experience.
Got rejected from Cambridge for medicine today. Bit gutted as I think I’m clever enough but clearly the competition was too great. I’m thinking of re applying with better credentials next year - do you know anyone who has done this? Thanks
@@elIieeee Hello, depends which unis give me offers tbh. I just like the academic environment of Cambridge and feel as though some of the other choices won’t suit me entirely.
@@edward2291 I totally get u... I got rejected today too (taking it better than I thought though) and I still believe the camb style of teaching would have been best for me, like you. If you do decide to reapply I wish you every success! Hopefully it won't be as competitive next year :(
@@edward2291 if you get offers from other medical schools, and you have the grades to reapply, I'd advise to think very carefully. I was rejected from Cambridge medicine 2 years ago and at the time I didn't realise that I didn't want to do medicine, and that I was only applying bc it was Cambridge (and so when I did start medicine at imperial it didn't work out). the important thing is that it's medicine, not that it's Cambridge, and if you find that difficult to accept, then maybe consider if medicine is what you really want. plus whilst reapplying can be a good idea (you can improve lots of aspects and a gap year can be beneficial) I reapplied again this year but for Phys natsci and unfortunately got rejected after pool again :/ I think it's just dependent on the interview and what they see in the interview unfortunately which is much harder to prepare for (as I applied with A*A*A*A in my A levels and still didn't get in).
I applied to king’s college this year, knowing the results will come out next week.....not sure why i started to seek for motivation and advice already
Going through rejection right now hurts but watching this instantly made me feel better. One closed door opens a thousand more:)
All the best :)

I haven’t even applied yet because I’m still too young but this is such a great motivational video anyway
