"Whether authors ever live to see the dawn of their fame depends upon the chance of circumstance; and the higher and more important their works are, the less likelihood there is of their doing so. That was an incomparable fine saying of Seneca's, that fame follows merit as surely as the body casts a shadow; sometimes falling in front, and sometimes behind. And he goes on to remark that "though the envy of contemporaries be shown by universal silence, there will come those who will judge without enmity or favor". From this remark it is manifest that even in Seneca's age there were rascals who understood the art of suppressing merit by maliciously ignoring its existence, and of concealing good work from the public in order to favor the bad: it is an art well understood in our day, too, manifesting itself, both then and now, in 'an envious conspiracy of silence'. "As a general rule, the longer a man's fame is likely to last, the later it will be in coming; for all excellent products require time for their development. The fame which lasts to posterity is like an oak, of very slow growth; and that which endures but a little while, like plants which spring up in a year and then die; whilst false fame is like a fungus, shooting up in a night and perishing as soon. "And why? For this reason; the more a man belongs to posterity, in other words, to humanity in general, the more of an alien he is to his contemporaries; since his work is not meant for them as such, but only for them in so far as they form part of mankind at large; there is none of that familiar local color about his productions which would appeal to them; and so what he does, fails of recognition because it is strange. "People are more likely to appreciate the man who serves the circumstances of his own brief hour, or the temper of the moment, - belonging to it, living and dying with it." - from: On Fame by Schopenhauer
Funny how this comment has 33 likes (since 33 and 333 represent "Spiritual Mastery" in Numerology).. I looked it up because I've been seeing those numbers everywhere over the past year..and I just turned 33 a month ago lol..
I've always said Big B has some kind of Mystical Power lol.. He is able to somehow communicate with his music as tho it were a language (which speaks directly to a part of you u didn't even know u had)..
This man is an absolute genius, the greatest guitarist there ever was, a true musician and composer, all heart and emotion and an absolute shredder his music has changed my life
Buckethead has been reaching me for while now. Not sure if it's just the combination of his healing music and my need for such, or, I'm just waking up to the reality of his prowess. In any case, this dude is a treasure, and we need to appreciate him while he is still here.
I literally get goosebumps and I can feel every hair that I have on me stand up right @ 07:51 until about 09:06. Bucket knows just how to speak to us all through his music. I'm convinced that his music has the capability to change the world in so many ways, if only everyone could just "Keep calm and Listen to Buckethead."
Brian Patrick Carroll is way ahead of his time. No lyrics needed. Let his guitar inspire us all. There were and are some great guitarist in the world but nothing like Buckethead. Talented like no other, a true gift. Please continue playing your music. I listen to nothing else.
The only instrumental guitar player that has over hundreds of albums, no you're not read it wrong it's hundreds of albums not hundreds of songs. Lot of love Mr. Buckethead ❤️
G. O. A. T. Buckethead the first and foremost expert in playing that thing we call the guitar. An entirely different level of music to say the least!!!!!
Thanks for showing what non stop dedication , and commitment to self - can do , you bare fruit for everyone to enjoy freely . Your escape from the normal- into music is the most impressive diligence I have ever seen in my lifetime..I am an artist...left with the tools..and time...if not immersed in it..the only other place is a well of sorrow to drown in .......hope I get to s you play live once before time runs out

Felizmente tienes un estudio de grabación a tu lado, que lo grabas al instante. Nosotros felices de degustar tus geniales composiciones. Cómo será tu próxima composición?.
Not so many years ago a group of people were standing in a room discussing how rock music was dieing, suddenly the door opened and in walked Buckethead saying, EXCUSE ME DID SOMEONE SAY SOMETHING :)
Como amo a este señor , me a influenciado tanto su música, por el fue que aprendí a tocar la guitarra , recuerdo que la primera canción que escuche de el fue Soothsayer , de ahí quise más y más de el , se convirtió en mi droga musical . Larga vida a Mr. Buckethead
Always a journey of the mind with Brian. No need for tv when you close your eyes.Three times live and waiting for next time at Wooley's in Des Moines.Thank you for gracing our stage....
I can listen to buckethead whenever but, listening to him helps me do the best “art” work when I need it. Buckethead has reached a level not many are able to reach in terms of a connection.

Actually, Slash has a great deal of respect for Buckethead. I think an interview Slash once had with Howard Stern gave off the wrong impression. Stern appeared to be trying to put words into Slash's mouth that didn't accurately represent how he felt about Buckethead.
@@PongGod I heard different. Slash did say Buckethead played impressive, but he called him a tech guitaris. I believed what he meant by this, he is saying buckethead only good with technology guitar, instead of playing proper guitar.

I wish you well. Its a life long battle. Buckethead has done 10x more for me than any rehab, 12 step program, or meeting.

The magic of Buckethead! He transports me to exactly where I want to be.
He’s the greatest of all time, his music doesn’t need lyrics, it’s timesless . Thank you B!
I wonder if he wasn’t entirely happy with ‘Hawksglide’…so did this?
@@ianwalker4030 Hawksglide was on the next pike, #288. They do have a pretty similar guitar tone, though.
