I wasn't getting what I needed from mainstream music. I searched tirelessly for something else. Finally found Buckethead. Was blown away. Needless to say I've found my source for the Soul now.
Buckethead is pretty much all I've been listening to since I discovered him late last year. Nobody even comes close to quality and quantity of output he has produced.
Outstanding music grabs your soul. Never heard of a guitarist such as Buckethead. Found him about a month ago, finally, and I am 68 wishing I had discovered him sooner!! Thank you, Buckhead for some fine, fine music.
So much of Buckethead's music is like fine art. It's not filled with fancy licks and catchy tunes and goes off the rails of typical song structure, but if you listen (TRULY listen), you'll hear an artist pouring out his soul into his work. He's almost more comparable to a painter than a guitarist. Absolutely amazing.
He creates auditory paintings that trigger your fantasy & make you imagine the most beautiful things by just closing your eyes. As his guitar serves as a blank canvas for all your hopes, dreams, thoughts, goals... Buckethead Is Love Buckethead is Life. 8 years of listening to this once a lifetime musical genius daily. His hard & disciplined work ethics is not only inspiring my musical projects but also motivates me to give it all in life too. He is the only artist I could listen to for hours & never get bored. Heck not even after listening to him for almost a decade he will ever become stale & old fashioned. I appreciate & cherish the privilege of having stumbled upon your lovely comment brother. His licks certainly are fancy, his tunes are catchy so much so that they are fresh and ever changing. He isn't copying anyone but continues to bring new creations from his endless inner well of creativity. I'm constantly inspired by his music to do the same.
True, but he never will be. And I'm sure he doesn't care in the least. He just goes about his life churning out incredible music to be enjoyed by anyone who wants to partake.
I'm close friends with a Russian girl and I got her into Buckethead a few weeks ago. She loves him and listens to his music all the time now. I've noticed that his music is just irresistible. I have turned many people onto his music and made them fans. Not one single person has been like, "Meh". They all wind up loving him. His music just has that power.
The subtle echo in the background combined with that beautiful image of someone standing on top of a mountain + the transcendental & peaceful guitar really make this a unique listening experience. This song makes me think about the pointless trivial things we waste our time with, when in fact life could & would be so beautiful if we could unite & spread love & happiness rather than being hostile towards each other etc... It's simply amazing how many of his songs your description can apply to. I've had similar feelings recently after discovering Passageway 5 and Pitch Dark. So so good!
I've kinda concluded that RUclips's algorithm automatically gives dislikes once a video reaches a certain number of views. That's the only way it makes sense.
I wish I was one of bucketheads drummers 🥺 do u know any other drumless or songs with soft simple drums like this so I can play my own..... I play I freestyle on aunt suzie a lot and gonna start using this one but I’m sure u know a lot more buckethead that me. It’s hard to keep up lol
Offs.. Why must it be ambient tune after ambient tune, endlessly? I mean u could string 100 of his albums together as 1 ambient track.. It's great stuff for sure, but not in this abundance. We know he puts down the heavy stuff and he can funk it. Lets here more of it please!
