ROLI! You took that guys advice! Last video a guy made a long comment about what you could do better in terms of advertisements! And you took his suggestion! MASSIVE RESPECT!❤️ Will be buying one! Thank you ROLI!❤️
i was upset that roli shut down and couldn't find a seaboard so I bought a korg modwave but now that everything is back up and running with sb2 ill be a new customer soon 😍
It looks amazing. I look forward to the day and can play with this MPE to add some expressive dynamics to my own music. I was amazed the first time I saw one!
Don't do it way to expensive for basically a kids toy. Trust me it's no Korg or Yamaha. Thier patient rights will run out soon then a real company will step up and make a badass board.. 😎
@@WeAreROLI No, not yet. I have been very busy getting caught up at the office because of the years of lock downs has put us behind. I plan on downloading it and using it in my studio. I also wanted to try and see if I could control any of my 3 Roland D-50s by way of a MIDI connection. That would be awesome. Thanks again ROLI for your great engineering on these equipment.
To be honest I have yet to find a notable difference between the first iteration of the Rise and this one. Don’t get me wrong- I love my Rise and I’m glad these are in production again, but doesn’t feel justified to call it the “RISE 2”
@@WeAreROLI two of the changes listed on the FAQ are software. Are there versions of Equator2, ROLI Studio, or ROLI Dashboard that are exclusive to RISE 2 owners, or are these the same as the ones I have for my RISE already?
@@BobDunn0 p sure its the same. they say its new but previously the seaboard rises all include equator2 + strobe + everything else and the blocks only got equator1 i think and some other stuff
@@BobDunn0 Hi Perry, This is the first time that Equator2 is bundled with a Seaboard. This is the same version that you can buy on our website. The same for ROLI Studio. We have some amazing upgrades planned for Equator2. Dashboard is getting updates too with the RISE 2 in mind and this will be backwards compatible.
It’s unique in the way it does MPE as is my Jamstik studio guitar, but price still high compared with Korg Synths such as modwave which has super sw and hw platform
I want to buy one of these! I’m hesitating because I know I’ll end up wanting all of the plug-ins and effects. The price will get out of hand very fast. Every time I buy a new peripheral that uses plugins, i forget to factor in the extra cost.
Do the "keys" move up and down at all, providing some sort of tactile feedback? It look like there's lots of tension in the performer's hands as the stretch to get their fingers into the right positions. Maybe narrower "keys" would be better. 🤷
Hi, I’ve been considering buying myself a Seaboard, but would like to test one out before making the purchase. Is that possible ? Do you have any stores in northern France or do you sell through other stores ? I can’t seem to find any info . Thanks!
it look amazing, but i have a question, i alway see apple computer plug to all seaboard, it is compatible with windows or no ? ROLI have a software for seaboard to windows ? Sorry for my english i'm french.
@@WeAreROLI Wishing you all the best with your new product introduction. I'm still loving my original Rise 49! The fact that #2 is more of a minor to moderate refinement of the concept demonstrates how far ahead the original was.
i really really really want one but im a broke college student, (but i do know the discount but it's not enough to make it even close to adorable xS it's kinda a "me" issue i guess..
Wish it had built in sounds and was plug and play like Osmose synth ....I absolutely hate having to use a computer...or bring a computer live. It's also very frustrating to have to go through a computer or a midi host to use it to control hardware synth for mpe to midi .... Why can't you guys make a hardware brain with built in sounds we can use to plug directly into the mixer? Instead of having to research mpe comparable hardware ....
Something wierd is like you guys are always out of stock. I had a budget of 50,000 Rs which is around 650$ (which may extend to 800$) for an instrument but then you were out of stock.
A midi keyboard is much more worth it than this 😭 you can add all of those things like slide using your daw and it’s not gonna cost you 1,400 dollars… even buying omnisphere is cheaper and that is such a good plug-in.
@@Bruckner honestly, if you pick up something like the MPK mini midi controller, that’s all you need with your software. A midi controller is so versatile, plus it’s in the $100 area. I use fl studio and that software is very good too.
This really feels like a slightly desperate grab at staying relevant. Found a niche in expensive midi controllers that couldn’t keep Roli afloat. Stopped production. “Maybe we’ll try to sell them a very very slightly redesigned product and see if we can keep our lifestyle company afloat for another few years.” Buyer beware.
I'm glad to see Roli back. It's a unique instrument. Equator 2 has some fantastic sounds, especially the piano. I would recommend it to anyone.

I don’t own a rise yet or any ROLI product, but I’ve definitely had my eye on them lately. Maybe this is a sign!

I might have to upgrade to the seaboard rise 2. I’m glad Roli is back.

I love watching videos of things I will never afford.
I have the roli seaboard... and now I need this...
Tron Legacy on this keyboard would be insane

Will you make a smaller more portable version?
There is already one, the Seaboard Block if I remember correctly
I need this in my life
Is the Piano coming from Equator ? :)
For the rest of the video, amazing features, blue color is beautiful, can't wait to receive it :) !
2:10 flower dance 🕺
Are the sounds in this demo included with the keyboard?

Will the rise 2 have polyphonic pitch bend á la Expressive E Osmose? That’s really the only feature I want in a keyboard
I love the first melody of the video. Is it a unique composition or from another song? Reminds me of some Ulver songs.
Beautiful piano
Is the Seaboard compatible with every DAW and effects plugin?
can we use these with headphones?
How quickly will a smaller version be coming out?
This will become my baby although I'm sad Seaboard Grand is discontinued.
The first part what’s the instrument called & song played ?
Hi What is the name of the first preset in equator?
Is this compatible with Mac OS Sonoma? Please advise, thanks!
Oh man I know if I could afford this it would be all I could play
Looks like a dream
hi i am just asking
is the Mellow Duduk in Roli Studio from EQUATOR2
And if not can you add it please
it look amazing, but i have a question, i alway see apple computer plug to all seaboard, it is compatible with windows or no ?
ROLI have a software for seaboard to windows ?
Sorry for my english i'm french.
the piano part is very nice is it some kinda chords being played automatically
The entire piano section is inspired from DJ Okawari's Flower Dance
you can literally see the guy playing the song there - manually. what drugs you on mate?
This is just epic
I want that so bad but it's so expensive!
About time I got the motivation I needed to earn money. :)
I want to buy this, but even though I signed up for emails, I didn't get a launch notification and now they're not available until December :(
What's the difference between 1 and 2??
Full details on the differences here: roli.com/stories/seaboard-rise-2-preorder-faqs
Does this come with sustain peddle or just sustains at all
Excellent
Whut what! You actually played Flower Dance by Okawari?? 2:11
Hi! Do those songs exist?
what diffences are between seaboard 1 and seaboard 2? (in practice)
That logo tho 🙌🏻
Can this work in Logic Pro?
yes. It is stated on their website. Logic Pro instruments can be set to work with Block, Rise and the Grand.
Hi there, Logic Pro is MPE compatible!
Buy to roli please price
私はこれが日本で買えるようになるのを楽しみにしています
Wish to see a black version also. At least a dark grey.
Is equator 2 still available on old Rise 1 ?
I'm waiting
the piano is beautify
I wish I have time to learn to play..
I wanna be like you🔥👏🏻🇧🇷
Sad to see there's no linux native version of the software....
I see no reason upgrade my original seaboard rise 49… the color looks cool
