Alot simplier then North,East,south, west

North is up, East is to the right, South is below north (down) and west is to the left (across form East.)

This makes no sense. North is UP south is DOWN . Any place I have seen it written out, east is to the right and west is to the left. This video just left me confused.. Make it make sense.

Here is an easier explanation:
Stand facing towards the sun
You are facing east
Behind you is west
Your left is north
Your right is south
SIMPLE
