Fred is amazingly talented in so many ways.
this man is a universal treasure
This man can do impressions of absolutely anything. He did drumming impressions and nailed them too.
The man is a GENIUS
BRAVO 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Fred is awesome!!!!!
Jimmy snort laughing…love it!! ❤❤❤ FRED ARMISEN❤❤❤
God, I just love him
Fred's comedy is so unique, I'm never disappointed
I went to my first punk show with Fred... The Damned 1986
'Going down the boulevard with a flower' is Lou Reed condensed into one sentence. Magical!
Okay, so I was an asshole when I lived in Portland and got irritated at the show and them filming there, but to be honest, it was one of the funniest TV shows of the last decade. 😄😆🤣
Yep. As an also young hipster I hugely disliked him. I eventually realized I was just jealous of Fred. Now I see he's basically exceptional

I don't understand why Portlanders hated this show. It's so good and I feel like it's the most Portland thing ever to hate it. But I also feel like I'm missing something. I've lived in PDX. I don't get the hate at all.
Many hipster stores were also complaining about the show 😅
Indeed it was... Much better than most comedies
Making Quest laugh is the goal. And being Fred Armison is the goal. 👏🏼👏🏼
loved all this 🧡
❤️❤️💪“There is no person on earth who does not have a problem And there is no problem on earth that has no solution, No matter how high the floor, Roads always go under the feet."
They speaking the language of the drummer!
amazing!!!!!
He is a genius
Fucking Genius Fred Armisen…alll so true darlin
Fred is the perfect example of someone that won't be truly appreciated until he's gone.
Fred Armisen.... and Carrie Brownstein, (in Sleater/Kinney), in Tacoma.
And Kyle McClachlan did mayor Portlandia ....then Twin Peaks, and Dune.
Did you know, Frank Herbert wrote "Dune", in Tacoma ! 1954 ;-)
Best ever!
The thing he said about his drumming over the decades, can be applied to guitar. I'm in my late 30s and I can already feel my taste evolving to slower and more laidback feel, not rushing to prove how fast or how many hooks I can squeeze into 4 bars.
Mi scuuuuusi
Still can't believe this guy is in the Mario movie as Cranky Kong
He's hilarious.
He was pretty damn funny on SNL and Portlandia, for a while I was annoyed by him. But his impersonations were funny. I don't know who he is personally, but the sketches were good and the Priest in Easy A was gold.
Patience is a virtue
one thing I've always wondered, and maybe someone out there has an answer to this, is why did Carrie Brownstein and Fred never make music together?
If they did and I missed it, let me know. Both of them are musical, though. 'Why just Portlandia?' is my question. Were they tired of each other when they stopped the show? I know they're good friends. Would love if anyone has the insight
I've been binging interviews since I've been binge watching Portlandia for the first time and I don't remember which interview it was said, but I remember Fred saying when he and Carrie met and knew they wanted to work together they didn't want to do music because if felt too obvious, so they seemed to make the effort to stay away from that and find something else, which I think led to ThunderAnt and then Portlandia of course. Now that the show's been done perhaps they will come back together on something musical as a way of working together again.
Aaaah
When you realize your quirky nature has a real purpose
The way he mocked the entitled and political correctness in Portlandia, was epic Truth!
I didn't know he played the drums, I just know him as Regine
I actually went to high school with Fred Armisen... One time in 8th grade he gave me a wedgie... Not a standard wedgie but an atomic wedgie that rode up my crack so bad that they had to surgically remove my undies... Found out years later that the doctor pinned them to his wall because they found it so funny. That was the summer my cousin Vinny got pinched for loitering.
Mlep(clay)nos! 😁
I would have said that “23 Cousins” was about large numbers of men enlisting and dying in WWII.
Ya know? For real. I was expecting it to take some kind of military/war interpretation turn, since crew cuts were being given to them.

Bad things went down at the drum circle at the rail yard. This is much better & a much different experience.
Fred is like Woody Allen, if Woody Allen was funny
Jaaaaammmiieee
Aldridge T. Abbington
He’s cute
Mikey is a Constitutional scholar.
Pearl Vision must be happy
If fred was revealed to be God himself, well I would be like 'yea, yea no that makes sense.
Jimmy Fallon Beyonce should make a movie about being a beauty saloon owner
Snow cones in PA vs. snow cones from KMart snoopy snow cone machine vs. snow cones (snow) at Disney world
Gabe loved Jonny Rotten
Mr. Rogers
Coins in the fountain at the mall maybe?
Dr. Briggs office?
We were obsessed with Christian slater tho
Portlandia was the last really funny show, Hipsters and Progressives were finally able to make fun of themselves and than Wokeness happened.
Mlepnos?
Scusi
I wanted to meet Joey Ramone
Elliot insisted “route” was simply a football term
16:13 of Jimmy fake laughing and pretending to be entertained. 🤣
Jimmy doesn't hide his envy well does he? lol
Jimmy isn't pretending to be entertained imo because he doesn't pretend well. When Robert Irwin is on with his exotic animals for example you can tell he's nervous and isn't having a lot of fun but is trying to be polite.
I’m sorry don’t know him is he a comedian ?!?
What’s your Snapchat?

Singles mattered too much. It wasn’t that great looking back.
Jimmy idk why my brother slandered you. He suggested you had a serious drinking problem, you fell in glass and cut your hand while inebriated, and that you were “a mess.”
